Her opponent, American Danielle Collins, has not only an Australian connection, but an MFC connection. Her coach-turned-boyfriend, Tom Couch (son of Geelong great, Paul Couch) played three games for Melbourne in, I think, 2012. Yeah nah, ignore that. Seems there’s confusion as to who her boyfriend is. Some think it’s Tom Couch, some think it’s an American model. Anyways, as you were.

I (for one) didn’t know this and am glad it was mentioned. Many comments on these boards reference things that happened years ago and have been discussed both at the time as well as since happening. There’s nothing wrong with that. 🙂

This is striking with just about every post-match interview. The players always acknowledge us supporters. They all seem to ‘get it’ which is incredible since they haven’t lived through the pain felt by so many of us through the decades. Maxy says for him it’s been 11 years and immediately mentions how it’s been so much longer for others. And it’s totally genuine when they say this premiership is for us. It’s actually heartfelt. ❤️💙❌❌❌
