  1. We need to play to Kossie's strengths more. We don't kick into space enough when he's one out inside 50 where he can showcase his speed. Also, I'd love to see him given bursts at stoppages to get him some touches. Definitely too important a player to drop, nor Chandler who is a valuable weapon in the forward line
  2. Better suited to the forward line. Highlights his strengths and hides his deficincies.
  3. In- Clarry Out- Spargo Jordon stays sub as he couldn't have done more in it today Assuming Petty isn't right, but Smith did enough to stay in. Bowey is very stiff but there's only so many spots in defence which looked very good today
  4. Important win to bank given the important 4-5 games we have either side of the bye. Suns came to play. We fought till the end, was disappointing how many marks we gave up and our efficiency in front of goal taking a dip
  5. I'm a bit disappointed with Schache Thought he'd assert himself a little more after we gave him a lifeline. Just looked like the same player the Dogs tried to make work over a few years
  6. No change, Spargo sub. Everyone redeemed themselves in the last quarter. Of course with the 5-day break a change or two wouldn't be surpirising. Good luck holding Gawn back though
  7. B Whelan May S.Febey HB Yze Lever J.McDonald C Langdon Jones Bruce HF Schwarz Neitz Green F Farmer Fritsch Davey Fol Gawn Petracca Oliver Int: White K.Pickett J.Viney Jurrah Sub: Melksham Emg: Watts Salem Magner
  8. Very stiff luck, and I'd argue Melksham fits the sub bill better and retains it over Jordon
  9. We were very quick off the mark compared to what I've seen. Disposal generally an upside despite a few tired mistakes. Defence as solid as ever and new goal kicking options in the team. Hope we can keep this up throughout a whole season. McVee, Laurie not quite ready imo but nice to see what they're made of. Taj could be a real x-factor based on that one quarter alone
  10. 80-90k is over the top, the Cats aren't that big a drawcard at the G. Could only see them in that range v Collingwood
  11. How many more sessions before the Christmas break?
  12. It's still a far way away, but I could see JVR get the nod over BB due to a better preseason and establish that as the set up and have Brown prove his fitness and form for Casey
  13. Likewise! Wish we knew the schedule
  14. No training today it seems
  15. Backs, there is nothing to suggest he'll be a forward this season from what I've observed
  16. Pretty much never has a bad game. Maybe 1 on 2 a season where he is tagged and slightly underwhelming, but I think when all is said and done, he'll go down as an all time great just because of how consistent he was from the get go. And yeah, a few more goals on the board and he's a brownlow lock.
  17. I could see us Holding on to 2 for a bit longer and having Jones present it to a player at a more special time, could even offer it to a Sparrow or maybe Chandler if he has a good season
  18. Would they dare pit us against Freo at the G on Saturday arvo? Or maybe give more time to build that one up
  19. Hunter has been a higher calibre player for most of his career, and may be better suited to our side. I highly doubt Dunstan thought he'd slot into a premiership team as a regular with Clarry, Viney and Trac as inside mids
  20. Expect Jordon to get better too and not want to lose his spot again. Both will be vying for that role in the 22
  21. Had no idea it was his last day when i saw him taking pictures on the boundary yesterday. All the best
  22. Will we be back out on Friday? Unsure how the preseason schedule normally works
  23. Petracca, he will find his kicking boots and score 35.10
  24. Definitely wasn't manned on the weekend
  25. His inability in front of goal is stopping him from reaching Ablett/Dusty heights. Should be breaking games open by kicking 2-3 regularly given his rotations into the forward line
