  1. I do quite admire the guy that just bashes the snare drum to no tune at all!
  2. That brutal Gold Coast Home Crowd advantage.. The trumpets after their goal makes more noise!
  3. They did. It didn't work.
  4. Gawn's tap work is horrible. His tap work is as effective as Dangerfield's Set shot kicking!
  5. Second Half Superb Showed a Pulse
  6. I think people who demand that Viney hits every target don’t understand what his strength is. He can use the ball well enough when he wants. I challenge anyone to shrug off a tackle and then hit a pin point pass. He gets caught to often but, the reward out weighs the risk. The recent choir on Demonland that has been critical of him, are the first to go silent when he delivers.
  7. 3 years since we beat WCE in Perth to make the 8 for the first time since 2006. Assuming we beat the Suns and Crows. We now need to beat WCE in Perth to make the 4. Shuey (injury cloud) Ryan (Hamstring) WCE are plucky. We need to beat the Suns and beat them well and take some form into the West. Because this is it. This is our chance to have a chance to win a Premiership right here. The run has to start now!
  8. Tmac absolutely destroyed Port 2 weeks ago.
  9. Sorry. I just don’t trust Weideman.
  10. No thanks. Kid is scared of his shadow. He should be firing like Larkey is for North! Not sure why, but spargo looked to be playing loose in defence last night? Maybe he had a run with role. He played 60% game time last week. I’d give him a rest. Jackson also looks tired, maybe it’s time to have a look at Daw? He has been rucking well for Casey when he’s played? Out: Spargo, Jackson (Maybe?) In: Sparrow, Daw (I cringe as I type it) If Mitch Brown was fit he would be worth a look. At least he has some craft. Maybe Melksham could be a chance to come in as well? He lacks a pressure game but he can certainly use it.
  11. Viney’s second half kept us in it last night. Those who consistently question his role, don’t have much idea about the game.
  12. I think you've sold a few short there. Travis Johnstone would be a handy addition on the wing & Jeff White would be a pretty option replacement for Luke Jackson?
  13. Did we not lose Neitz after Rd18?
  14. I couldn't agree more. I respect the era before I followed but I have no connection.
  15. The same player who threw his hands up and surrendered in the 18 prelim? He was good for us, but I wouldn't say respected. Robertson would be a good one to get in, every podcast he has done recently he describes how is still annoyed we didn't have the facilities/level playing field to compete with the big clubs.
  16. Small detail omitted here BD. We were also crippled by injuries from that point.
  17. God Bless her and her cotton socks!
  18. Hopefully he is gets the 3 votes for Melb again!
  19. It isn't in Danger. We win the next two. its a formality.
  20. Let them have it. They're old legs will be too tired come their 25th game if they make it that far!
  21. Port are rubbish. They won't even win 3 of those.
  22. After this weekend, seems a few upsets are in the works!
  23. 50/50? We could afford to lose 2 games and still finish 4th. We beat the Hawks & Suns (danger game in Darwin) we’ll be finishing top 2!!
  24. No complaints here. Let them pump up 4th 5th and 6th. Swans are the hot side at the moment. Fact of the matter is. They won’t be playing any finals at the SCG or GMHBA (which they’ll try to request) & if they don’t make the 4 they aren’t scaring anyone.
