Local media pundits not taking MFC as a serious threat.
Port are rubbish. They won't even win 3 of those.

After this weekend, seems a few upsets are in the works!

50/50? We could afford to lose 2 games and still finish 4th. We beat the Hawks & Suns (danger game in Darwin) we’ll be finishing top 2!!

No complaints here. Let them pump up 4th 5th and 6th. Swans are the hot side at the moment. Fact of the matter is. They won’t be playing any finals at the SCG or GMHBA (which they’ll try to request) & if they don’t make the 4 they aren’t scaring anyone.

2021 Fwd Line v 1988 & 2000
Couldn't agree more. I was 12 in 98 and in 96 when I was 10 I had no idea how the finals system worked.. We lived in brisbane at the time and used to "follow" the bears mainly to go. I rememeber being adamant North were knocked out after week 2 ? When in reality they were straight to the Prelim.

1998- Neitz Lyon Schwartz Farmer Never seen a more potent forward line in my time. That finals system robbed us. How on earth you can belt the eventual premiers and not make a GF is mind baffling!

Umpire Margetts is a bit of a bad-luck charm for Dees
He is also a useless umpire.

I'm sure your language during pre season and regular training was articulate & concise? ?

Big Test for Port you mean.

One thing Gawn has been repeating is how much he has want to "get teams back". So if I was a gambling man (and I am) I would be tipping a big one from him this week. He has been a bit flat, I'd expect him to fire up like he did for the Bulldogs & Lions game.

You ever done a pre season at an decent level of.. anything?- Time to panic?
Panic? At 12-3.. Moderators should delete this. Three losses (worst 17 pts). Average losing margin of 9 pts.- TICKETING: Rd 15 vs Essendon
So the over 60s in the MCC will be fine.- Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
I wish!- Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
Apparently Jonathon Brown was going to mentor him this year but because of COVID it fell through.. Would be good for the club to get Neitz to help him?- Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
What if he likes his fishing?- 2021 Injury List
One that Dave Misson isn't at the club!- Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
I think Weid is becoming the whipping boy Jack Watts was. My point is Sam has had far more support and opportunity to develop than Jack did. Yet seems to have stagnated at the top level. We are now a club past the development stage. So I think you can't "get games into him" while we are now legitimately in the Premiership Window. so if someone else comes in and plays the role he couldn't so be it & if he chooses to leave because he couldn't get a game, that's not the clubs fault.- Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
Same years of development would make Weideman look worse.- Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
Here’s an interesting comparison. Take into account Watts played in a far worse side. Jack Watts (50 games) 2009-2012. Goals- 37.18 Contested Marks- 49 Avg Disp- 13 Tackles- 89 Sam Weideman (49 Games) 2016-2021. Goals- 49.29 Contested Marks- 69 Avg Disp- 9 Tackles- 67- Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
6 Years in the system. He isn't Young anymore. He should be coming into his prime.- THE LAST TIME THEY MET
