  1. A brilliant footballer on his day and a bit different. Melbourne, particularly under Max embrace individuals who are a bit different.

We have a great culture of bringing indigenous players on. Thanks to nev and the wrecker

We don't want people though in our organisation who always think they are the victim.

You racial vilify  someone then the problem is with you. The problem is not Lumumba's however you made it for the 2 of you so you are held responsible.  It comes down to the club and whoever is in charge.

Lumumba has a right to sue and good on him. The club with whom he first played for in Collingwood  and the AFL.  This is a serious issue and it has to be cleaned up for the good of humanity and for the sake of our game.

      Heretier  Lumumber  deserves some peace.

Lumumber has the right right to sue and Collingwood has the right to presumption of innocence.

I hate Collingwood so happy for them to cop a massive whack if these allegations stand up.

Some of the things Lumumber has said in the past are fanciful at best. I do hope it works out for him though and he finds his peace.

No one has mentioned that with two key forwards, on their own, virtually in the goal square, why Harmes didn’t pass it to them, rather than take the shot. Kicking to the forwards would have made a certainty of the goal. Of late, Harmes kicking on the run hasn’t been great, so could have easily missed. Both were not team first decisions in my view.

When we can have a shot we take it.

If we kick a point we back our structure. For the opposition's kick out. If we kick a goal even better.

Passing to a "better option" gives us a higher chance of turning it over and less opportunity to defend if we do.

I rarely watch the "footy shows" any longer but I just happened to go for a wander with the dog and plonk myself at a pub to have a meal on this lovely balmy evening. It so happened they had 360 on, minus the sound thank [censored]. Between mouthfuls of duck and an ave red wine I saw this headline of "Robbos" tweet "Mark Robinson: Essendon need a review into its coach, players and officials after poor start to 2022 AFL season". So after wandering home I thought I'd check the kayo showing of his [censored]...

So after seeing the above Gerard then goes into a little spiel about it before throwing to Robbo "I think something will happen in the next 4 weeks anyway Gerrard,  Hawthorn this week, I think they have Port Adelaide way, they got Rich dream time and their 150th celebration is the Carlton round 10 or 11.... I don't like looking to far ahead but Ess could be 1 and 10 or 1 and 11 and that state of the season I think it is imperative the EFC sits down and looks at the football program... list management, executive... whole club situation... (get you facts right you massive dribbler!!)

Then he goes into Rutten.... and plenty of images of him looking under the pump. Crickey then they go slamming Stringer with "Why does Jake Stringer get injuries get injuries and take weeks to get himself right".... Gerrard then goes into Stringer doing another hammy... but they then show images of Stringer bringing his kids over the fence onto the ground after the loss.

Robbo is borderline incoherent and footy clubs need to protect these guys better especially from rubbish like the above on TV tonight. Where are other people besides coaches and players fronting the media to allow the players and coaches have a breather from the intense scrutiny?

What pub are you getting duck at? I normally just get a chicken parma.

  5. I've written this before but I'll write it again. My daughter wears number 6 on her back. She used to keep getting asked why she liked Jordan Lewis and she would  tell anyone off. She would of only been 3 or 4 years old but she would let them know bluntly she has 6 on her back because of Daisy.

This one I have written about before In a shout out to the Gus and Gawny podcast my daughter and i had the pleasure of randomly catching a tram with Jayden Hunt's mum. She told us Jayden's uncle played for the dees and has the same locker my daughter trumped her (pun intended) and said her great grandpa was the president of the USA.lthats true. One of the useless presidents on the simpsons

Not since Collingwood on Queens birthday 2021.  Although I watch pretty much every game, for some weird reasons, I didn't watch the games against GWS and the Dogs in the second half of 2021.

It's kind of unbelievable that I haven't watched us actually loose in nearly a year!! 😯😯.

I mentally actually thought we'd lost against Geelong at 3/4 time of the last home and away last year, but so guess that just wasn't to be 😥😥🤣🤣🤣.

Not like I'm going to complain about that though.

When your captain kicks a captain's goal after the siren to win the minor premiership you are having a good year

It’s an awesome feeling when the only reason we’re getting frustrated is because we aren’t blowing teams out ❤️

We did the same thing last year

Goodwin understands odds and probability better than other coaches.

We don't belt teams at the moment because we don't show our hand.

We'll do it it in the finals again and the other teams won't know what hit them.

  8. I'll go the opposite here. I reckon if we are in range of goal we take the first option and have a ping.

We used to try and do what was once considered "the team oriented option" under Roos and chip it to first available option in forward 50 with a better angle or whatever.

Now we don't care. Have a shot from where ever. If it goes through the opposition cops Gawn, Oliver, Petracca at the centre bounce.

If it misses they cop Spargo,ANB and kozzie In a very effective zone.

  9. We have a whole team of effort players.

Jordon ran from one end of the ground to the other last week just to get a finger on the ball.

Nobody plays in our team that isn't an effort player.

I feel like reporting this post. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but if Oliver was 2nd best on ground - I know nothing about football.
