Always staggered me that Tony Libratore, who was a Carlton coach at the time, went on one of the TV programs and blatantly admitted tht the Blues had tanked. Not a single further question was ever asked of the Blues and they were never pulled over the coals like us!

Yeah, but there is the issue of him being extensively interviewed by the club and asked about moving home. This was done at the beginning of the draft. He made certain guarantees to the club and said he loved living here and had been here for Basketball and had an uncle here. The club were sucked in by this and took him. Now, like all soft West Aussies, he can’t be without his mum’s cooking and the small country town life Perth offers.

Something that Freo don’t have. You are completely correct and I don’t understand why the media aren’t discussing this more. He is going for a packet of crisps, Freo have nothing, as they tied all their players up, so how does this deal get done. Jackson doesn’t see.
