Mark Williams New Head of Development
Very very good get, success has followed him everywhere he has been. Great backboard for goody and apparently is on of the best at getting talent out of individuals especially in young kids. Not his role but hope he still has a bit to do with the playing group!

Nearest the pin - 2020 draft
We have 18 and 19.

AFL Mid Season Draft 2021
Mid season rookie draft is a big deal this year, will be gun kids that don't get picked in the draft due to not playing footy in 2020. And this is a chance to get them before next years national draft.

Nearest the pin - 2020 draft
My guess is we trade up the draft, possibly with Ess and grab Macrea

7 News Adelaide reporting Burgess will be at the Crows in 2021. Think this is a big loss if it happens!

Projected Best 22's 2021
FB: Hibberd May Lever HB: Hore Tomlinson Salem C: Langdon Petracca Rivers R: Gawn Oliver Viney HF: Harmes* Weideman Jackson FF: Pickett Brown Fritsch Int: Brayshaw, Spargo, Lockhart, Petty/TMac/Sparrow depending on matchups. Emg: Jones, Sparrow, TMac, ANB * = rotating mid Recon Rivers can really be an elite ball user and eventually a good midfielder, his ball use on the wing is what we need. Baker also a chance but alot of work to do on his game.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Can we trade up in the Pre-Season draft and tell him to walk there?

2 second rounders for Brown is a good deal. Presuming his medical went well. If we can get a pick back that would be ideal.

AFL Trade Radio
Listening to Hannan on Trade Radio this morn, sounds like he left for opportunity, melb obviously told him he isnt locked into our best side. Kept saying things like, I believe my best footy is in front of me, I think I can get up the ground and play tall and small, also said he has the opportunity to play on the wing which he thinks he will be good at. Obviously We told him he is no wingman. Will always have that goal, good luck Mitch

Reports that his medical at the dogs today didn't go great

Farewell Mitch Hannan
You need to watch that Ess game again, 2 were over the back. Im not as worried about his goal kicking as I am about pressure acts, tell me how many tackles he had in those two games. Il help you out, you only need one hand. And 7 all up from his 6 games. If your playing as a small fwd thats not good enough. Especially for someone who has pace. He is a good kick for goal but a horrible, horrible field kick. Not bagging his goal kicking, but he is a back up, im happy to be proven wrong and hope I am. But his 7 years at AFL to me has shown where he is at.

Farewell Mitch Hannan
Smith should be delisted. Fritsch is our HFF and the other for our rotating mids. Hunt is an over the back goal kicker, he will not get any better, he is basically the same mould as Hannan. 1 in 4 player. Good one week missing the next 3

And Viney

Rumour only file ...
Marty Hore is also a player who can play on talls and smalls. Missed all 2020 with injuries but was a shining light in a poor 2019

Harmes and ANB are both South Aussies and the right age bracket for the crows

Farewell Mitch Hannan
Wasn't me who said that. I wouldn't have Hunt or melksham in our b22. We are shocking by foot going inside 50, we shoukd be going hard at phillips. Or polec. Hunt has been at the club for 7 years now. He is what he is, handy depth but that's it. Smith shouldn't have been given another contract
-
Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
No chance of holding his salary, with De'Goey, Mihochek, daicos and a few others to sign still. As well as the reported players they are keen on.

Farewell Mitch Hannan
Agree, although I dont rate Hannan or Hunt as pressure fwds. Kossie is a lock with Wied and fingers crossed a Ben Brown or the likes of, Frictsh and im guessing LJ. Which leaves one spot which needs to be a rotating mid. Trac, Oliver, viney, harmes, bray
-
Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
Phillips is a great player, the fact he has been in Coll best 22 for the bast 4+ years shows something. He should be our target ahead of Smith and Polec. He is the right age, can still work on weak areas of his game and is the outside run and carry we need. Should shoot straight to the top of our recruitment list. His disposal is good, not great and not bad.
-
Farewell Mitch Hannan
Offer him and Hunt for picks, which we should chuck at Collingwood for Phillips, who should be top priority. Close second being Brown/Cameron/Hogan/Mihochek. We don't need Hannan and Hunt. We have Melksham, Fritcsh, Smith, Vanders, Harmes who can play that role.

Farewell Mitch Hannan
https://amp.theage.com.au/sport/afl/demons-hannan-on-western-bulldogs-trade-radar-20201014-p5651k.html?__twitter_impression=true I like Hannan as a depth player, but is the exact type of player we should move on if the deal is right. Will find it hard to fit into our best 22 if we recruit another FWD.
