  1. Big Fella, stop living in the 80’s. We’re the Big Boys now. This will be a solid win on Saturday. They can’t beat us. They’ll hand around for awhile and then we’ll turn the jets on.
  2. How are Carlton seriously going to beat us? Just someone who thinks they can win please tell me how. Please don’t say they’ll out contest us or out run us, they aren’t in our wheelhouse in either of those areas. The media hype is just that. Time to show these pretenders who’s driving the bus.
  3. I wonder if he’ll fake a hamstring on Saturday night. As for people commenting on his media ability, get a life. I liked it, so much better than the scripted bullsith most players roll out.
  4. No disrespect to either but they’re done. Faithful servants both but times up
  5. Hopefully Ben Brown and Tom McDonald are retiring
  6. This Saturday night will be an even more impressive win. go Dees unleash hell
  7. We should of beat Brisbane earlier in the last quarter. We kicked 4.5 to 1.1. Could easily have kicked 7.2. Some easy misses
  8. I'd be very surprised if he played again this year. I'd be surprised and relieved if he was good to go at the start of preseason.
  9. Josh is, like almost all football journalists, not very smart. He attempts to look smart in a common way, by choosing the opposite view of most others. (Kind of like the bulk of the anti vax movement) What this does is give Josh some extra attention, which keeps him on the radio and puts food on his table. Thus enabling him to continue trotting out, well not much really. Listen to your brain cells dying as they listen to him.
  10. The Gurus were/are a great live gig.
  11. And we can sit back and watch it all
  12. The AFL need to do some research and inform the clubs. Give them a dozen safe ways to tackle. You’ve got to stop using the tribunal as a way to make the game safer. It’s like getting more police and defunding the aid programs.
  13. I think it comes back to coaching and knowing the possible outcomes. There’s ways to tackle that both avoid concussion and limit the chance of serious leg injuries. The AFL need to undertake some research and inform the clubs prior to the next preseason. Of course this is too logical so in the middle of next year the AFL to counter a spate of leg injuries will introduce more rule changes on the fly. This will render our game even harder to umpire and lead to more poor umpiring so they’ll introduce 5 umpires. All amateurs!
  14. One interesting opinion from the media this week is the impact of changing tackle styles since concussion became the focus. if you watch MaKay he tackles Petty and then falls to his knees and leans back. This avoids any chance of Petty's head hitting the ground. What it does do is drastically increase the chance of serious leg injuries. Going to be interesting watching this play out over the next few seasons.
  15. It's full of West Australians though
  16. John Ralph is a peanut. He's Robbo with a tie.
  17. Only real facts as opposed to fake facts and plenty of great quality bants......what are bants just so I know?
  18. Yes, I thought he was gone. That’s why my show would be based on facts, to avoid such issues. May I say I wasn’t alone. I also use that time to get used to life without said player.
  19. I always thought smoking them was the problem
  20. If he was to ever run out in a Melbourne guernsey I’d return both my MFC and MCC membership’s. Sides generally recruit to get better.
  21. Teething issues are inevitable, I’ll call it AFL On Point
  22. That’s not the issue, at various points most have agreed with those points. The problem lies in the lack of in-depth analysis. There should be a show that spends 15-20 minutes on the 4 main games of each round and 5-10 on each of the other 4. Some analysis beyond 3 glammed up clips trying to prove a point. I’d call it AFL On Monday. I’d have Hoyne, Me and 3 others (no one springs to mind sadly) and we’d get deep, both technically and spiritually in our analysis. They’d be no Ralphy, no Brereton, no Robbo, no King, no Huddo and The Bounce would be axed. We’d replace On the Couch and AFL 360 and we’d be on on Monday and Thursday (Wednesday if there was a Thursday game) Post and Pre total analysis. We’d rate the absolute shizzle off the crud currently on offer. The start and end credits would be the best plays/marks/goals of the week. We’d go to training, wade through stats and flesh out the meaning of them. Can’t believe it hasn’t been done already. Oh and no ads. 7-9pm
