  1. If he stays, which I think is unlikely, he’ll get plenty of game time. It’s not as though Max is playing 27-28 games next year
  2. If Grundy is on our books at the end of next season he'll likely be about to have his last few seasons as our Number 1 ruck, that's about as far from a liability as you can get. If Grundy leaves which appears likely and we can't find back up for Max, it's likely Schache will get serious AFL minutes. I'm not enthusiastic about that. I'm in the keep Grundy if we can camp. In saying that I'd be happy with Georgiades for Grundy and PA pay all his contract.
  3. I think the risk is mitigated by the fact it's likely a dead rubber. I still see May getting rested and Tomlinson playing but that's a total guess. Sub will be TMac surely, I mean why take him if he's not playing?
  4. When Brisbane win I'll rest easy
  5. I still can't see how we lost that QF
  6. The Turner inclusion is an interesting one. it's pretty clear the FD don't love Tomlinson, I'm guessing it's probably because of his lack of pace and he does get lost under the ball from time to time. Turner offers less size but more pace, reads the ball marginally better and probably matches Adam for disposal. Experience, well he largely has none and here we sit at the start of the most important 6 weeks of the season. Are we giving Turner a run because we see The Pies forward line as smaller and more mobile? What if we play Brisbane in the GF, does Tomlinson get the nod? Personally I think we see Turner as the match up for the Pies and this is his chance to get ready for that. Still a big, brave call by the FD. I like it.
  7. As I said he’d be lucky to be best 26
  8. Fritsch can be poor defensively when it comes to chasing and tackling. He is however good at negating his man when required. His main aim remains kicking 6 in Grand Finals
  9. I’m pretty sure Fritsch did a reasonable job negating Moore earlier in the season
  10. I still think May will be a late withdrawal
  11. Why would any indigenous player go near that shtihole of a club. He would be lucky to beat 26 at Dee’s
  12. I think we know how this ends He’ll get 24 touches at 75%, take 8 marks and gain 400 metres
  13. I’d say he’s already an elite reader of the play, has strong hands, serviceable kick. As said, he’s not May’s replacement, I think that role goes to Tomlinson. He’s a best 22 player but we have a stacked defence. We are likely seeing our next Lever but I think Turner’s a better mark. Must keep.
  14. The club holds the cards, we’re also a good club, if Grundy wants to leave we’ll facilitate a trade. We’ll only pay some of his salary if it nets us a useable draft selection in the top 20. The only way he stays if he is happy to play second fiddle to Gawn next year. The club won’t hold him to a contract if he wants to play elsewhere, we’re not that club. Player welfare is a high priority at the Dee’s.
  15. He’s break in to bits if he played like Viney
  16. My guess is that Turner will replace May in selected side
  17. Well there goes the neighbourhood
  18. TMac remains a risky proposition. Not convinced he’ll be playing finals. He’ll replace Smith?
  19. If we can’t get a back up ruck and Grundy leaves does Schache get a run?
  20. I’m not fussed if he moves on. Fresh coaching perspective’s are great for teams at the top
  21. We won’t be paying any part of his wage unless the pick is a first rounder
  22. Would WC take pick 4 and 5 for Allen and would we do it?
  23. B- for mine, he covered Gawn really well, played some good games with Gawn. Unfortunately their best game together was a practice game
  24. We’re hitting finals like a freight train, I’m pumped I will add that I was also confident in 21 and watching the footy is hard. I get really nervous and anxious. This finals series is going to really test me. Breathe Roost It!
