  1. He's not that player, never has been, never will be.
  2. Firstly, you implied we hadn't be playing tough, hard football which is rubbish. Secondly we were carrying multiple injuries to some of our best players last year, plus it's last year, so hardly relevant. We'll lose JVR, likely for Grundy, which in all honesty, is a pretty damn fine swap. Don't forget Grundy's a bloody good footballer. We've lost Brayshaw and JJ is an adequate replacement. Lower the eyes, kick straight, don't panic. In all honesty I think those early goals to Collingwood and losing Brayshaw to a concussion through us off. By mid way through the second we were on top, sadly we couldn't get it done. You can run around yelling the sky is falling flapping your arms or you can knuckle down and win 3 games of football. I reckon I know what the club will do but hey after the first half of last night I was thinking Carlton will floor us so what would I know?
  3. Take it easy, you'd be saying how awesome everything is had we kicked straight 3-4 more times. The forward line is a busted up Comodore atm. The fact we were even in it is a small miracle.
  4. Minimal change, kick straight, move to prelim
  5. Waffle, we’re not playing May forward and I’m almost certain Tomlinson won’t play. We play tough, hard football every week. If you haven’t seen that already I can’t help you.
  6. Petracca has to play more time forward with JJ replacing Brayshaw
  7. I think we have the making a really strong front half in Petty and JVR. I'd be looking for May's replacement and an elite midfielder or 2. McAdam will be a great get I think. Hoping Woewodin and Howes can start playing senior footy
  8. If Stafford had Petty and Melksham we'd be fine. We're asking him to turn water into wine.
  9. The reality is Tomlinson would offer more than TMac who by any metric is finished. We won't do it though. Out: Brayshaw, JVR In: Jordan, Grundy Sub: Woewodin/Spargo/Laurie
  10. Thats called a Hail Mary
  11. Feeling better after seeing Sydney fight back. Should beat the Blues comfortably
  12. We’re in all sorts against the energy of the Blues
  13. Oh no you’re yelling again. Chill the farc out man
  14. They’ll beat us at clearance and pump it forward, sheesh, could get ugly
  15. We’re in all sorts against the Blues, they’ve got that energy that teams get.
  16. If a professional athlete needs his coach to "rev" him up before a QF against Collingwood in front of 92,000 fans its his problem not the coach. I actually think we expected it to just happen and then Gus goes off and bang, we're 4-5 goals down.
  17. Is there any substance in the Lynch rumours?
  18. C'mon Man, give me more
  19. Who was there and where's the match report for christ's sake!! On my desk in 10!!
  20. You can't have a send off rule with the quality of umpires we have. having 4 has made the problem even worse.
  21. JJ will come in for Brayshaw and Petracca will go forward more. Both Sydney and Carlton have strong midfields so he'll still spend some time onball.
  22. Too many changes
  23. And then Port the week after that
  24. Petty at CHF with Melksham beside him and Brayshaw playing 4 quarters and we win by a comfortable 4-6 goals. It's a cruel game and we've covered our injuries exceptionally well. Last night was a massive missed opportunity. I really hope we're switched on and blow the semi final opponent off the park in a cruel and brutal fashion.
