If we had real strength we would have beaten Carlton by 6 goals, rolled Brisbane and smacked the Pies. We watched Gawn go down against Brisbane in round 2 and ran to Mummy. Then watched Gus go down and ran crying to Mummy. Then lost our innards and got rolled by Carlton. Teams with deep fortitude and resilience just don’t do that. We’re a bit weak.

Once again we’re at a point where we are being tested as a club. Again I think we lack the internal fortitude to come out stronger. Hopefully I’m wrong but……..

Massive unders, were basically giving up Pick 5 and Oliver for Reid and a later pick.....

It’s pretty clear the club are prepared to move mountains to get Reid. They’ve long wanted him. I’d suggest the club has allowed the Oliver story out to see what comes back. The chance of it happening remain very small. I’m backing the club on this.

I saw him interviewed on On The Couch. He’s a bogan who’s been forced into finishing school. It was cringeworthy viewing.

If North think they’re getting Reid and an Oliver deal is in the offing then Sheezel could be part of the deal. I still can’t see it happening.

Personally I’d prefer to upgrade our running players than sell the farm for a key forward like McKay. I also think we should be drafting the next May. Don’t get me wrong if we can get McKay for 2 first round picks outside the top 10 I’m ok with that. But pick 5, give me someone more dynamic and game breaking.
