  1. Apparently he’s got 2 of them
  2. You can't kick up a fuss over Maynard and then expect your player to get off for unnecessarily elbowing a guy in the head in the same match. You look like an [censored] doing that.
  3. It's close to insanity even thinking about doing that. FMD indeed.
  4. I don't have any more growth available when it comes to utter contempt for lawyers. I hit max contempt 25 years ago.
  5. It was a brutal loss
  6. I'm getting the tickets tomorrow and I'm not sure Id care if I missed out. Sitting with 60,000 rabid Carlton Fans is my idea of a nightmare.
  7. I'm not sure you want to see, it'll make you rethink that our method is fine :) Honestly though it's not hard to drag out 2-3 incidents where players make a poor decision in a game of football. I do agree that we could afford to be more attacking considering the quality of our defence.
  8. Gawn can play 60% ruck, 20% forward, 20% bench.
  9. Put a grand on for me, you can take it out of the winnings
  10. I skim watched the other games but not after half time. Melbourne or the games a bust for me. The handling of the Hawthorn fiasco was the final nail. They were more worried about their star coach than a community of ex players. Disgusting.
  11. Not sure I agree, Petracca was on the move and a well placed handball was an option.
  12. Backing off? He was streaming forward with eyes looking straight ahead with only one intent, kick it long. This is our problem in a nutshell
  13. Watch the replay and there’s a dozen clear better options within the 50 that players either ignore or don’t see before they bomb it long to no one. I’m with you for most of what you say but method is also an issue. Even Brayshaw’s kick that saw him ironed out would have been better as a handball to Petracca. It’s those things that we fall into that hurt us continually.
  14. I imagine it’s Grundy because he’s got the experience over Turner. As I said if they play Turner I’ll show up but I may look away at times. TMac was ok for a player in his position. Kick that goal and we’re GF bound. He’ll most likely stay in. But Brown is clearly cooked and rolling him out would be too much for me to handle. I’ll be honest, Thursday cooked me to an extent. I don’t like losing but losing to Collingwood, who we are better than, really hurt.
  15. I’d wind it back if they could. You can’t play 2 lumbering, immobile, not match fit 31 year olds with a long history of injuries, who’ve barely played all year in a cut throat final. Grundy has to come in and if he doesn’t and they go with Turner I’ll still show but I might look away at times!
  16. Our connection is poor because our mids continually butcher the ball and they know that so they thump it long without much thought. Only Viney has made any real effort to lower the eyes and he was quiet on Thursday.
  17. If we name BBB and TMac I’ll be staying home on Friday night. Also it’s little wonder the players are a tad flat. They blew a golden ticket to a GF, lost a best mate, quite likely for good and are now thinking “sheesh, this could be straight sets again” I’d be taking swings at poor kids with hands out for high fives if it was me. Not to mention it’s Sunday freaking morning!!
  18. Exactly why it [censored] me to tears when clowns on here so we don’t play for each other. What utter tripe. So do people want Petracca to faux wrestle Collingwood players after the incident? Wow that’s just so tuff. You let the football do the talking and for most of Thursday night we had them right where we wanted them. Sheesh I’m annoyed we couldn’t finish a bit better.
  19. It drizzled that day
  20. So you're happy with players consistently bombing it to no one in particular. Oliver gained 750m and is lauded, I reckon his 750m cost us 3000m back the other way. Yes we should have won and would have if we kicked straight, that's a no brainer. However our kicking inside 50 and even further back was atrocious. The Pies knew to pressure the kicker and we succumbed. Our forwards are often not leading and our mids are often bombing it behind any leads that do occur, or worse just plain ignoring others in better positions. What keeps me in the hopeful camp is this game was a mirror image of the GWS game and we recovered from that pretty well. I'm dirty with that loss, we just may have gifted the Pies a flag.
  21. My bigger point being that Maynard dropping wine off doesn’t make his action worse and we’d be best to stick to the incident.
  22. Leave it out, you’ve now said your piece 4 times to him. He’s got his opinion and he’s entitled to it.
  23. I think you’ll find they’re friends and Brayshaw is keen on his wine. Let’s stick to the incident shall we.
  24. I’m sorry but how can you not see us winning when literally 2 more shots on goal go through and we’d of win on Thursday. We play Carlton and yes I’ll admit watching them in the first half against Sydney I thought we were toast. However we’re not, far from it. We played the Collingwood game much like the GWS game, almost identical in fact bar the rain although it was damp on Thursday. After that game we were unbeaten bar the Blues “not really a loss” loss. We’re in this, right in it, The Bears will be tough but we’ll beat Carlton.
  25. Don’t do it to yourself
