  1. History heavily suggesting a solid Dee’s win.
  2. The money will always come. It’s lame to suggest we need gambling advertising to pay for everything. Tobacco and cricket used the same rubbish argument years ago. These gambling companies are scum. Take a look at some of the stories about heavy problem gamblers being propped up by Sportsbet and the like and tell me they should be allowed to advertise. They can also pack up all the low life ex footballers like Daisy Thomas and send them off to the school of life for awhile.

    Jordan for Henry
  4. Would the keyboard hamstring experts give it a rest.
  5. Oliver out for the dreaded 4-6 it would seem
  6. Sounds like we're finguck fit, which is awesome
  7. Did you see them loading? :)
  8. Another thing that I think needs to be added to the discussion is the evolution of a game plan throughout the year. We started off on a more attacking front and posted big scores with lots of wave running. Do that for a year and you'll be gassed come September. We've definitely become more defensive over the last month. Is that to do with managing loads during our loading phase and also fine tuning our defensive structures? I'm hoping that as we lead into finals we'll find the balance between attack and defence and that will also have to do with having a fit best 16 available. Having Petty out has certainly hindered us and I really hope he can find some form as a forward. I'd like to see Gawn, Viney, Grundy and perhaps May have a rest prior to the finals.
  9. Let’s not go there.
  10. Yes but our finals campaign was clearly hampered more by injury than anything else. I’m not sure that’s a good example
  11. Don’t need a “but” there
  12. I’m a loader
  13. Do you not think loading is an issue?
  14. IN: Brown, Bowey OUT: Gawn, Chandler. Give Max the weekend to refresh and put some k's into his legs without the body on body impacts of playing.
  15. They played well against Collingwood. Max had a poor night in the rain, he wasn't alone. Loading a 31 year old ruckman is likely to see a dip in performance
  16. It appears the club has set Brown the last 8 weeks and finals.....let's see how that pans out
  17. I meant odds are higher
  18. I have no idea what the match committee are thinking. So far they've netted us a flag and I'm pretty confident their plan will net us another. If you think Tomlinson's omission from the team resulted in the loss then I suggest you do more research. He ain't that good!
  19. Like Collingwood who we controlled completely with our defensive effort. Sorry but your analysis is just plain wrong.
  20. Love it Big fella, especially the chocolate teapot, where do i get one of those! Hope your travels are going well, are you back for finals?
  21. I'm going to guess that the odds of a mark and goal in the forward line are lower than a crumber cleaning up around a pack and kicking a goal. I might be wrong but it would explain a lot. Similiar to those bemoaning May's kick outs, only to realise that we are the number 1 club for turning kick outs into goals.
  22. When have we ever made 5 changes?
  23. On Tomlinson, a few weeks back we were calling for his head, then he played a decoy role on McKay and a good game against the Pies. Just calm the farm. I think he has a spot down back with petty up forward. I think we need to bench the resting ruckman for awhile and get them fresh for Sept. The loading may or may not be finished but the next few weeks will show. All tracking well in my opinion.
  24. disagree, he's playing like a 19 year old key forward. I think he's doing just fine.
  25. I think he has a much better chance of success if Petty is there. Had Petty played on Stewart…….
