Trade Targets
Claims on BigFooty (take with grain of salt) that Elliot Yeo wants out of West Coast, if there is even a glimmer of truth to that we should be on the phone

Jess Gawn to deliver during finals?
From memory she is due on one of the big Spring Carnival days, he keeps saying what if Iām two legs up in the quaddie

Trade Targets
$$$$$ is the only answer. I think a very high volume of AFL footballers are being encouraged to treat the game like a short term occupation. Suits managers, suits the players and keeps the offseason interesting. Someone at Carlton must have an incredible marketing pitch because there is very little foundation in the place at present @daisycutter I thought the same about Rowell, guess he did a lot of weight work rather than load on his legs

Trade Targets
I think he's still impeded by injury, looks to be lacking a lot of energy in the way he moves. Would not be surprised if he wanted to get back home in the next 12-18 months, his career has not gone according to plan so far

Finals merchandise
Not specifically related to finals merch, but there's a rather ordinary selection of Melbourne apparel in general. Finals were all but guaranteed quite some time ago, you would think they would be pushing a lot more through. I don't own any Melbourne related clothing and wanted to get something for the last 4-5 weeks, can't find anything that really makes me want to buy it

How young were you when Barass last raised the cup?

GAMEDAY: Rd 23 vs Geelong
Rather than keep on with the G&Tās, I think Iāll turn it off and regroup for next week. This has been the performance everyone feared, even for the most optimistic of us
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 23 vs Geelong
Started the game with a few mid-strengths, already hit the G&Tās before half time. This could get ugly

Sparrow is clunking them tonight

Trade Targets
We wouldnāt even fit 6 of our reserves players in the North or GCS sides, but love the optimism

Parker > Viney Problem solved Edit: Little bit tongue in cheek, but I am big on the fact you should always be looking to improve. Parker is top 5-10 player in our side, if he wanted to come you would never say no.

AFL TRADE NEWS AND RUMOURSĀ
The most recent evidence suggests he is a long, long way ahead of Melksham. Believe Lynch has missed a lot of footy this year through injury but heās a much more consistent player than Melk and definitely knows how to play a role, plus heās taller and harder to match up on.

AFL TRADE NEWS AND RUMOURSĀ
Many on here would think Nibbler and AVB would get it done. Depending on how this year pans out, I could be convinced too
-
AFL TRADE NEWS AND RUMOURSĀ
He's definitely too good to go on the AFL scrap heap. Would think he could play the T-Mac role with ease or alternatively he could play the opposing wing to Ed.

AFL TRADE NEWS AND RUMOURSĀ
I am firmly in the same camp. Think we are probably 2 quality mids off the pace of the best midfields. Yes, we can beat sides but we have been very blessed with both of Clarry and Trac's durability - That won't happen forever. I'm very bullish on Jordon and can see Sparrow making the grade. In my eyes it all comes down to another proper, quick winger and a workhorse mid that fills the gap between Clarry/Trac and the rest

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JAKE BOWEY
I have said it previously but that traditional centre role is perfect for him. The linkman and playmaker between the arcs

Will Nathan Jones get a farewell game?
This will be the a gut wrenching finals campaign for Jonesy, but his only chance was missed a few years back. He can be proud that he was a part of the rising of the club from the depths of hell - still wonāt make it any easier for him

AFL TRADE NEWS AND RUMOURSĀ
I read something today on BigFooty that suggested Talia is well sorted with property developments and will play in the SANFL with his brother Adelaide are really ripping the bandaid off

Hallelujah - Umpire #6 Dean Margetts announces retirement
Those stats donāt do him any favours, you canāt argue with the numbers

POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast
I'm aware of that. The Eagles seem to rely on those two blokes to drag them over the line, yet neither can run out a quarter. Not even close
-
POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast
Add Elliot Yeo to this as well. He was quite good in bursts, but cannot run out a quarter. Yeo was getting dirtier as quarters went on and he couldn't keep up. The Eagles players all look so heavy and lethargic. Kennedy and Darling must be cooked during the week, they are constantly sitting under highballs and getting crunched in contests - tough way to make a living
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JAKE BOWEY
Everything about last nights game was stacked against him - The Eagles with finals on the line, their big bodies trying to physically intimidate us and the wet weather. He just get's on with business and we look a much more settled side with another good ball user in the mix.
