Our goal kicking is disgusting. Practice makes perfect. Gotta get technique right and the only way to do that is through repetition. These players are paid to kick goals. They should practice for an hour each day at least. In the pressure of game day they can then fall back on that repetition.

Our goal kicking is hurting our ladder position far more.

Perhaps the fact he has been suspended already this season was a factor.

His only AFL attribute is his aggression. But this is his second suspension in 5 games so it’s become a liability. He’s probably a ripper bloke but unfortunately he has no skills to be an afl player. If not suspended he should have been dropped anyways.

I reckon we have the same mental block as the English soccer team have with penalty shootouts. You can practice all day but nothing replicates the pressure of executing when the pressure is on.

Professional players should be able to consistently kick straight. If they continually botch it then I reckon that’s on them. Also, Chocco is the skills coach. I think he should be the one under the spotlight not goody.

kossie and trac missed from about 10-15 out in front of goal plenty of gettable shots missed besides. from memory 3-4 from approx 45m out in front of goal you may be right overall about our half forwards but they were not the reason we lost today

I hate the pies with a passion but their kicking skills were sublime against the Hawks They will slice and dice us JVR in for AJ i suppose leave the rest of the team as is. its just shuffling the deck chairs on the titanic anyways given we can't kick for toffee

youngsters a big positive for mine. let's go and get a proper skills / kicking coach to ensure we get full value from this young group

Well done saints Came out firing and took advantage of our complacency and disrespect.
