2 intense games. Both won with FG's at the death. Massive chokes from the Titans and Packers 49ers can;t win from here with Garoppolo. Oline has to step up and protect Burrow better. If they do the Bengals are a chance next week Tomorrows games should be rippers
  2. 5. Hanks 4. Harris 3. L Pearce 2. Birch 1. Hore
  3. Parry can't survive much longer. Contributed nothing in 3 matches subject to health and safety protocols, Gay and Mithen in. West and Parry out
  4. Got the percentage boost after all. Great final quarter but pretty ordinary up to that Play like we did til 3 quarter time next week and Adelaide will beat us easy. Hopefully thats the dodgy performance out of the way and we can put together a 4 quarter effort next week. We'll need to if we're to beat the Crows Go Dees
  5. she's the difference today
  6. settle down. she's won 5 AA jackets in a row
  7. So much for percentage. We're in a battle here. Other than Harris the whole team needs to lift.
  8. Great mark and goal Tayla Harris
  9. Sloppy from the Dees. Should be further behind. Hopefully this quarter, with the wind at our backs, we can find our rhythm
  10. West has the most awkward kicking style i've ever seen. She needs a few sessions with chocco
  11. Hand balling to players in a stationery position. Kick the ball
  12. Huge game next week for sure. Hopefully we can avoid the dreaded "health and safety protocols" and can field a strong team
  13. I’ve seen most of the teams at this stage. I reckon St Kilda are a firm favourite for the wooden spoon. They are very limited Adelaide and Freo have already built up percentage over us so we need to close the gap. It’s quite possible percentage will decide home ground advantage in finals. we have to be ruthless with the weaker teams. Put your foot on their throat girls
  14. Melbourne 2022 Season Preview - The Big Questions - The Mongrel Punt Some interesting questions and analysis here. I particularly like the defence of Kozzies performance in the granny and the highlights package included to support the assessment. Mongrel Punt definitely one of the better analysts out there.
  15. As far as I know there are no plans for a new home venue for the women. Gosch's will be re-developed to a full training oval but won't host games. Casey is not convenient but I've got used to driving out there now I don;t think i'll go to the game today. Too hot. Hope the girls can handle the heat ok. Running around in 33 degrees is no fun
  16. Excellent ins. Unfortunate for Lily. Parry needs to raise her game. Contributed little thus far The saints have dropped Greisner. She was the reason we lost to them 2 years ago so good for us she isn't playing. That said she was very off the pace against the pies last week.
  17. I hope we avoid having to postpone games. Don’t want to be cramming games in at the end of the season like the bulldogs will now have to do. Depth critical and will probably be no 1 success factor this year.
  18. If the vaccine doesn’t prevent transmission what’s the point of the mandate? Especially for very fit and healthy athletes who don’t get severe disease so won’t be clogging up our hospitals.
  19. They spent most time talking diet. Hardly controversial. I suggest posters listen rather than pre-judging TMac is obviously intelligent. I’ve no doubt he will forge a successful career post footy Thanks for sharing @Rab D Nesbitt
  20. I like it. Blends naturally with our traditional colors...as opposed to this shocker from the doggies
  21. She's a beast. I get the sense she really enjoys hurting defenders
  22. One of the silver linings of having the WA AFLW teams in VIC is we don;t have to listen to those WA nuffies like Will Schofiled commentating
  23. She predicted we would lose to Port in Round 4. Not likely. Port are such a non-threat The idea that we had no injuries last year is a furphy. We started the season with our KPF 1 Brown and KPF 2 Weid both injured and lucky for us TMac stepped up. We did go into finals with a healthy list though
  24. 5. McNamara 4. Hore 3. Hanks 2. Paxman 1 Bannon
  25. Even spread of performances. We have a good balance, strong across each line and good depth Harris is a monster. By far the most physical ALFW player i've seen McNamara BOG. Love how she goes about it MaGee and Parry will be the 2 worrying about their spots 2 from 2. really solid start to the season Go Dees
