  1. Lachie Shultz has improved a lot this year
  2. I thought Freo were supposed to have a good defense. Geelong marking everything that goes into their forward 50
  3. The contrast between Max Gawn and Nic Nat could not be more stark. Maxy has built a tank which allows him to get up and down the ground all day. A huge asset to his team. Nic Nat is gassed after a quarter because he's so unfit. Gets hailed for his tapwork (which is good) but adds nothing else to his team West Coast are an arrogant club with an arrogant fanbase. And now they have an arrogant playing group who can;t be bothered to to present in proper condition. I've never had much time for this club because i don;t think they've ever had a particularly strong culture. They've folded many times on the road, even when contending for flags, despite having all the resources an AFL team could wish for and the pick of the best players in WA They've had some great players along the way and still do. Josh Kennedy has been outstanding. But there's a rot at the core of that club. Let them languish at the bottom for many years
  4. This game has suddenly got a lot more interesting. No doubt covid protocols have evened up the odds but we are still going in with a strong team Looking forward to seeing how our system holds up with all the changes in personnel. Losing Kossie and Nibbler will impact our forward half pressure but hopefully Bedford can bring some heat to compensate I’m bringing my boy along to his first game. He’s excited and so am I Despite the changes we’ll win Dees by 25 points
  5. I’d hate to lose him. we should do everything we can to convince him to stay but if he wants to return for family reasons then so be it. Drive a hard bargain with west coast, get some top picks and let JT go to work in the draft
  6. Horrible from the Eagles. 100 point belting coming up
  7. Willie Rioli is great to watch. Super player
  8. Even though the dockers are shaping as a rival to us this year i still want them to beat the cats. Taberner is a big out for them so they may struggle to score but i reckon their defensive game will strangle the cats and they'll do enough to win
  9. Still a strong team and should be enough to beat Hawthorn
  10. Yze is a top assistant. He'll get a head coaching job before too long perhaps as early as this off season. Thats just the way it goes. I'm sure we'll all wish him well when the time comes and thank him for the great job he's done for us
  11. Thankfully we found a cure for that. Our 13th premiership!
  12. Unfortunate for those affected but hawks on a 5 day break and starting to show signs of fatigue because of Mitchell’s gung ho game plan. We’ll win regardless
  13. Before opening the thread i assumed Ed Langdon would be number 1
  14. Kicking straight makes a big difference
  15. Swans have left their shooting boots in Sydney
  16. We’ve played teams so far whose mindset has been to keep the score respectable We’re coming up against the Hawks next. They’ll have a go at us. And regret it. We’ll beat them by 50+ points I reckon
  17. BDA replied to a post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
I'm not fussed what the W/L column says as long we finish top 2 and secure home finals
  18. The way he's going it won't be long until he's on a par with Lever and May. I watched him closely night. Great timing, positioning and mark of the ball. He was outstanding last year and has picked up where he left off despite the injury disruption. He's a fantastic player
  19. Must kick straight
  20. In: Lever, Viney, goal kicking practice Out: Dunstan (didn't play badly), Smith (does plenty right but his mistake was a howler), goal kicking yips
  21. Jesus wept. I think our wins are fantastic. Have you forgotten all those god awful seasons we had
  22. We’re so good we can have a shocking day in front of goals and still win petty bowey clarry all very good. Good even contribution from the rest. let’s smash the hawks next week go dees
  23. Petty BOG. Rock solid all night
  24. Richmond fans heading home Cheerio
