It was annoying listening to Darcy barrack for the Saints last night but he's still salty because we brutalised his beloved doggies in the 21GF. Very transparent. Most of the media are just hacks so tbh I don't really care what they have to say.

Goody made some big calls at the selection table and they paid off against the Saints. Kudos to him. I'm glad JVR has had a couple of weeks to recharge at Casey but i want to see him come in against the Lions. If we win the flag, he'll be in the 22 for sure. I want to see him tested against another contender and also see how he goes working in tandem with BBB. We need that partnership to click so the more games they play together before finals the better.

Far out, some people are never happy.

Saints made it very difficult but we absorbed everything they threw at us and got the win. Goal kicking much improved. Trac accurate for once. Liked Melks game. Steven May very good. Taj did well on his debut. We won’t get ahead of ourselves but that win takes the pressure off so hopefully now we can kick on, build some form and hopefully have a dip at the flag Go Dees

Credit to the saints for effort but in the circumstances we should not be letting them dominate us like this. If they kicked straight we’d be in real trouble.

Weightman is a decent player

His form is down like everyone else’s. However he’s more likely than most to be the one to provide the spark to get our season going again.

I highly doubt Tomlinson would have been utterly shocked that Petty, premiered defender Petty, who was playing in the team until injured, was picked ahead of him. my opinion on who gets dropped or not doesn’t matter. And thommos opinion or any other players opinion doesn’t count either. The coach makes the call. He’ll be judged on his team selections come seasons end.

True regarding internet. This could all be completely untrue. When I say bad games I’m referring to this season. Pre injury he was fantastic. I remember the game Hawkins elbowed Steven May. Thommo went to Hawkins and was magnificent. Held Hawkins as well as any defender.

I agree with this. Nothing wrong with him speaking with the coach to understand where he stands. Just as long as he hasn’t downed tools.

Yes. He’s supposed to be a professional. We pay his wages, I expect him to be ready if called upon. And he’s played as many bad games as good so it’s not like he’s been super reliable. I have no time for players sooking.
