I reckon Hawks will be my second team for the next couple of weeks. Long odds still but pick 3 would be a monumental result for us.

Ifs, buts and maybes. Maybe the club is fundamentally incapable of succeeding but 5 and half years is enough time to give any coach. No CEO in any walk of life survives that long delivering mediocrity. I reckon Hardwick will get them to finals. They have the talent. Really. They haven't made finals with the list they have. They fold every year like a cheap suit. And they have plenty of AFL support and the resources to succeed. No heart is a reflection on the coach. They've had their moments but they habitually disappoint every time they look like turning the corner. And i reckon Simon Goodwin would turn them into a finals team if he had the chance.
