The women are more daring than the men for sure. I love the boys, not having a pop, just stating a fact. Doesn't always come off for the women but bloody good to watch
-
Bannan had a quite start to the season so i can understand her omission. If she can become more consistent, she'll be one of the most valuable players in the league
-
A second option for Stevie May for the kick ins
-
We cannot be as predictable going inside 50 this year. If I see BBB trying to mark a dump kick in the forward pocket with 3 defenders hanging out of him, I'll scream
-
Perhaps we should have rotated more but I don't think it would have made a difference come finals time. Our best players were carrying niggles and out of form unfortunately. Trac was hobbling, Maxy banged up, Lever's ankle not right etc. etc. You can't cover for those players
-
Very strange decision by the ALFW to schedule the Richmond North game at a low-capacity venue and in a timeslot that clashes with the matildas. Way to grow the game
-
I’m neither pro nor anti loading theory (i think you're referring to loading). All I know is we were flying going into finals last year compared to flat as a tack this year. Something went wrong. Injuries a factor for sure, tough back half fixtures etc. My guess is we trained heavy mid-season similar to 2021 when in hindsight we should have kept it lighter. No evidence for this only the eye test
-
Both teams just making up the numbers as they say dogs worst team to make the 8 Not sure about Libby Birch in the special comms role
-
Missed TMac. delivery inside 50 too predictable got our conditioning program wrong Too many niggles and injuries at the wrong time

Last nights game was a shocker but in general the games between the top teams are of a decent standard. Definitely getting better each season. And besides there are a quite a few low quality men’s games every season as well.
-
I’m a fan of Gus and delighted he signed on but his disposal is not his strongest attribute
-
I’m looking forward to @DeeSpencer’s take
-
No detail provided about the method used to compile but i would have thought Maxy the most popular. He seems to be universally well liked by supporters of all teams. I wouldn't say the same about dangerflog. Strange list

The Geelong North game is a hard watch. Terrible game. 3 goals in total to 3 quarter time. We have nothing to fear if we face either of these sides in the prelim
-
Lions will have the Crows in the prelim. Much tougher assignment for them than today We'll have either Richmond, North or Geelong. I reckon North will win through
-
Richmond not very competitive. If the Lions had their shooting boots on this game would be over already
-
10-12 games played and goal a game average would be a satisfactory output for his for season in the seniors. anything more would be a bonus.
-
Bannan is such an x factor. Athletic traits with skills to match. Very few, male or female, can execute a 6-bounce run at speed. Or have the presence of mind to run around on the mark to get within range and kick the vital goal. She's next level footy smarts and a phenomenal weapon to have in the team
-
Magnificent performance after quarter time Even contribution across the board but i thought Purcell and Lampard were great. Bannan all class We'll get great confidence and belief from that fightback. Can't see us losing the prelim but we can't afford to start like that again. Asking for trouble if we do Go Dees
-
we've outscored the Crows 47-6 since quarter time. We're murdering them,
-
Bannan is the smartest player in the AFLW
-
blatant throw and spotted by the ump. great chance here
-
This is intense. Tackling is ferocious from both teams
-
crows presuure has lifted again
-
its been a game of the proverbial 2 quarters so far Asleep in the first quarter but gritted it out and showed a truckload of guts to get back into this game Crows will re-set so not over my any means Come on Dees. you can do this
