We're not banged up we're just clueless going inside our forward 50. And a bunch of drunks would have a better set-shot record that us over the past few weeks
-
In: Brown Out: Smith If Brown not fit then Tommo for Wmith If Brown is fit he has to come in. If not play Petty forward. Smith wasn't bad but he's just a stop gap. I don't think he can be a regular forward for us. Second half proved that. Give Spargo a spell at Casey to see if he can regain some form. It made zero sense having him sub. Harmes for sub. Tommo was stiff but he has had as many bad games as good this year. If Petty plays forward this week then bring him in but if not then leave Petty in defence.

Just watched the game (was indisposed last night). Was able to check the scores from halftime and was sure we would get it done at ¾ time. Dropped a game we should have won. Frustrating as hell but we’ll win enough games to finish top 4. From there, I don’t know. Forward line is dysfunctional and has been for a while. I think we need BB to win a flag. I hope he has the legs for one last dance. Petty has to go forward and hopefully can do a job for us but he won’t be a saviour. We have got to find a KPF during trade period. An absolute must. The pies win gave me hope. We have a good draw to September so have the opportunity to get on a roll. I just pray that BB can get fit and fire for us one last time. Go Dees

Never easy at taxpayer funded park as their home record attests. They are undermanned and vulnerable. If we're about our business we should win. But it'll be tough. Always is down there. Dees by 10 points

Petty is best 22. If he’s fit, he plays. Tough on Tomlinson but it’s great to have him as cover and know he can do a job for us and be relied upon if needed. We know what Tomlinson can do for us. Smith is 2 games into a stint as a forward. The experiment needs more time to see if a viable longer-term solution for us. I’m in favor of keeping him in for this reason. I’m a huge fan of Spargo but his form is well down this year. Hopefully a spell at Casey will help him rebuild his form and confidence. An in form Spargo would be great to have in the latter part of the season and finals. A lot of questioning of the selection committee in this thread. I can’t think of too many calls they’ve got wrong this season. There was a lot of calls for Salem to come back through the VFL but he has hardly missed a beat since returning. Like Salem I think Petty much more likely to find form quicker in the firsts than at Casey. I thoroughly dislike the cats and really resent getting sent to their sh*tpile of a stadium and ground every year. I hope we smash ‘em.

If the Suns had any supporters they'd be very disappointed right now.
-
Suns have reverted to their flaky unreliable selves.
-
Suns forward play is plain dumb.

I'm going to ignore the permutations and barrack for a Carlton loss. Because it's Carlton and it's the right thing to do.

I didn't predict a 5-10 finish. -

You’ve figured out how to use spell checker which is great cos now your posts are legible. Now you just need to read others posts properly. Read what I wrote and have another go at responding. -

We do like to wallow. it might help people overcome the close/unlucky losses if they also acknowledged the close/lucky wins. The suns should have beaten us so for me the freo game balanced the ledger. Port and pies have been more consistent so far this season. They deserve to be top 2. We’re leading the chasing pack which, on balance is exactly where we deserve to be. In terms of picks there isn’t that much difference between 5-10 which is the range we’ll end up with. JT will do his thing and find a quality player for us. -
Suns have improved a lot this season. I expect them to beat Carlton today and have a good crack at getting into the 8. Would be great to see them make finals (I've lambasted them for a long time, but they are finally showing some ticker). Would be magnificent if they made finals at the expense of Essendon.

Freo caught us on a bad day. everything went right for them, and we were rubbish. Days like that can happen during the season. They are trending downwards and we're pushing top 2 so I suggest we all move on from that defeat. -

huge 50 on the stroke of quarter time. Great start Giants. death ride going full throttle. -
Fox just brough up Toby Bedford's stats for the year so far. Not shabby at all

He saved 2 people from drowning in Torquay a couple of summers ago. I can’t rag on him since then (he does love himself though)

Lions have taken control. Swans need to stem the bleeding quickly otherwise this game is over.
-
Nice gift to the Swans. They needed that.
-
umps have inserted themselves into proceedings. harsh insufficient intent call leads to the goal
-
very soft 50 there
-
Pies look tired. They could easily drop some games and give us the chance to overtake them. Crows, suns and doggies in their next 3. Not an easy run at all.

We just posted simultaneously Wells I agree. They are a better team than 21. Time will tell if they can push through to the granny but they are very well placed now. I can't see anyone out of us, pies, Port and Lions winning it. And the Lions are showing some familiar frailties again. as i said in my previous post, i think we have the game plan to win at AO if required.
