  1. So do we go: May - Hawkins Petty - Cameron Smith - Rohan ?
  2. We spoke to soon....
  3. Winger with a good kick, outside mid with a good kick, perhaps a medium sized half forward... with a good kick.
  4. I kinda hope not. Prefer things as 'settled' as possible from a role perspective. The changes seem relatively obvious this week, so hope we don't get too cute.
  5. Personally I'd rather play Port (or Brisbane) in week 1 than the Dogs, despite the last few games I think the Dogs are a more finals hardened team than Port. So for mine a win is still important Saturday night.
  6. Swans apparently have a very tight cap squeeze this year.
  7. I was wondering that not long after I posted it actually! Got confused because the offensive half at 61% is to the right.
  8. He was saying during the week how tired he was feeling so I reckon he just had a flat game after all the travel etc.
  9. 2 tackles and 12 pressure acts is pretty poor from a specialist 'defensive winger'. He had a poor game. Not the end of the world or his career, but find it strange people are working so hard to defend it.
  10. I'm sure they did at some stage, but that doesn't mean "Langdon matched up on Seedsman almost all day,"
  11. Had his role changed later in the game on Sunday so I reckon that's a sign he wasn't playing his role to Goody's requirements.
  12. Yeah it sucks mate. We'll all just possibly have to save up the hugs and high fives for the first time the pubs open up 100%. Perhaps the club could organize a replay event (should we even get to the GF) at the Victoria Sporting Globe venues?
  13. Possibly, but Gibbo is currently our media guy, photographer, runner and probably more, so wouldn't be surprised if he's on top of this stuff and has something in the works.
  14. One thing I think our club does well, especially factoring in our budget and resources, is being innovative with trying to look after the fans. The virtual Bluey, AGM (might not have been the AGM, but we had a virtual club presentation I recall), even little things like the MFC cookies and vouchers the club handed out at Perth airport to Dees fans rocking up to the prelim in 2018. I reckon they'd already be throwing together ideas for ways to connect with the fans or have some kind of experience options that will suit the restrictions at the time. Could be something like a watch party even. And if not, MFC here's your chance to start planning something of the sort so that us fans can at least 'virtually' connect with each other during the finals games. *cough* GIbbo *cough*
  15. You're welcome to rock up to the club on Monday and offer to teach Kozzy how to deal with racism. Pathetic comments from you that show your lack of understanding of the subject. Rather than dig in and make it worse you should step back from the keyboard and have a proper think about what you're saying. No one has 'misrepresented' it.
  16. Calling it early: "We haven't shown up!!" 😉
  17. FFS. Imaging jumping on the internet to anonymously tell a 20 year old Indigenous AFL footballer they need to 'toughen up a bit' in the face of the racism they've faced all their life. Pathetic comment and it's sad that you will never have the self awareness to even think about what you said.
  18. And this thread is now about umpires, Trump and as much about 'Macca' as he can make it. It's sad these threads always go this way, and it's probably a microcosm of why headway on racism is such a slog.
  19. We brought in Jordon for TMac given the wet conditions though, and the forecast I've seen for the G on Sunday is absolutely perfect. Personally, would have gone back to the 2 key forwards and brought out Jordon or Sparrow.
  20. You are, albeit potentially not on purpose. So stop.
