Don't know tbh, this is kicking around on social media atm. Best guess is a photographer picked it up but not a tv camera.

Yes.

Didn't want to start a new thread for this, but, just sayin....

I'm not interested in your childish trolling arguments, but you've said more than you realize by using this specific example. -

I really don't think you have an understanding of racism in power structures. I don't mean that as a crack at you, but when you're going with 'it happens to everyone' or similar; you're missing the point of why so much is being put into racism against 'minorities'. -

Racist abusers to be banned from all Premier League grounds -
Goodwin: “We want to create the habits that last you a long, long time as a footy club. It‘s important we continue to push that. “In saying that, we certainly won‘t continue playing guys who are playing sore if we don’t need to. But we want to continue playing the right way.”

Played in round 18 and was then dropped.

The Dees might have to let him move houses now, he's gonna need a trophy room soon...

I think he slunk away when Luke "He'll never be a forward" Jackson kicked 4 goals last week...
-
Haha yeah never know with old Harmesy, but I reckon you're on the money in that the best chance is Harmes in the middle, and for mine that means Viney more as a mid/forward than in the guts. Means we can get that burst from Harmes and the forward tackling pressure from Viney.
-
Yeah, I'm a firm believer in the Viney as a mid/forward role, especially if Harmes can keep his form in the middle. Agree that Harmes' burst helps, but not getting ahead of myself in expecting it more often yet.

Probably comes in for Sparrow if we're trying to guess what Goody would do.

Who the hell is our goal kicking coach!?

We've got a board member who was a pretty sweet kick for goal.... Maybe he can wander down to 'observe training' fairly often... -

I think there's lots of areas where he could improve, one of them is his marking on the lead, but I think it gets massively overcooked on Demonland.
-
That's my point though. There's always more context to these things. Simply saying "Weid has never kicked 20 goals" is an overly simplistic observation.
-
Simply not true and has just become part of (the less reputable) poster lore on Demonland somehow. In 2020, 2019 and 2018, only Gawn averaged more contested marks than Weideman. Even this year, in a 'poor' year for him, he's still ahead of jackson, Petty & Fritsch, and only very slightly behind Brown.
-
Yeah, would be a shame to lose him mostly due to our key position depth atm for his age. I wouldn't blame him if he moved on for a better chance of senior game time though. Whether he stays or goes though, I'd like to see us draft or trade in a young key forward for the future.
-
I disagree. Season by season, up until this year when he has been behind Brown and TMac, he has played more games every year. He also cracked the top 10 in the Bluey in 2020 and was in our top 5 for distance covered per game. I didn't say Weid should be allowed limitless time to develop, but pretty clearly there's a lot of context behind his development, his injuries and his opportunities, which is why I raised the example of Gawn. Jason Taylor made it pretty clear Weid was a longer term project when he was drafted.
