Yeah fair enough, I just came away from it liking how he related to players and seemed a 'relationship' style coach. Leon Cameron on the other hand....
-
We have Matty Whelan at the club already as Indigenous Project Officer.
-
As Fat Tony pointed out, it's probably just a small part of a big picture it seems. Someone else mentioned they haven't managed their list sizes as well. With Roosy rating him highly, and after watching 'Making Their Mark', I think Stewy Dew could be a great coach but just seems everything around him is managed so so badly.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
Lord Nev replied to Lord Nev's topic in Melbourne Demons
Club has spoken both with Jacko and his parents (who very well could move down here) and it's all been dealt with. Absolutely no issue here. Not related to this specifically, but there's been a team meeting since where the players, lead by Gawn, have spoken about how it's now time to wind up the celebrations and start preparing for '22. They know teams will be coming hard for them and they will be judged on what happens next season. -
Yep, it's probably a more big picture thing, but from what I've heard that pick 19 is the real sticking point for them.
-
Possibly due to the difference in salaries between first round picks and later picks/rookies I guess?
-
Yeah that pick 19 is the one I heard GC need to get rid of. They're that tight that they're struggling with fitting in too many higher draft pick wages. Mind boggling.
-
Don't know if already mentioned, but Gold Coast are in a world of hurt. Rumour is they have severe salary cap issues, despite their poor list. Look for them to potentially trade out some of this year's picks. Not sure if we can get in on the action, but will be something to keep an eye on.
-
I would suggest we don't have immediate needs at all and the whole idea of Mac would be with a view to having Jackson and he as the ruck combo in a few years given Max is 30 this year.

Kate Roffey, the unsung hero of our success

His family is in Melbourne (Romsey) as well.

I'm not 'triggered' mate, certainly not enough to start a thread about it and definitely not 'fuming'.
-
Not many players who are as quality as Nev end up having even more impact on a club simply due to the person they are, but the Lord is clearly one of them. I perceive our cultural values to be family, selflessness, competitiveness and fairness; and Nev is the epitome of every one of those. Thanks for all the highlights, on and off field, champion.

Meh. Plenty of articles said we would win the flag in 2019. Where's the thread for proving them wrong? We all make comments and predictions that end up being way off, sadly we don't get paid for it here, but why not just enjoy the good vibes and the amazing team we now have rather than go digging up some space filler articles for hindsight bashing?

23 pressure acts and 3 tackles inside 50. Didn't get lucky with kicking goals himself, but his pressure and intent was what a Grand Final is all about for mine.

GAMEDAY: Grand Final vs Western Bulldogs
Lord Nev replied to At Least I Saw a Flag's topic in Melbourne Demons
Smoke and mirrors I reckon. Harmes or Viney will go straight to him IMO. -

Sitting next to Gus. Hunt was not near anyone other than Byrnes. Been confirmed since he's not playing. -

Yeah, but feels like it would be out of Hunt and Jordon, so seeing Hunty up the back pretty much by himself could be a hint.... Or it could be me just overthinking on Grand Final day while I pace around the house... Edit - Just saw your other post. JJ it is.
