I'm sure we have lots on the list as OD mentioned the club had told him above, but we currently do not have an approved site. But hey, I'm sure Dante will facepalm Perty and tell him he has no idea...
-
For what exactly? I asked him where the location would be and he didn't answer, just went on a facepalm binge. In fact, if you read my posts, I said we weren't getting money because we didn't have a location - Is that incorrect?
-
None of them are premiership players. Just sayin.
-
What's the location then?
-
The point I'm making is - we won a flag with not as good a training setup as we have now, so while it's definitely necessary to get this all sorted, perhaps life isn't as all bad as some are making out?
-
Will be good to have done, and I'm sure old dee and the Deemocracy types will keep the board accountable, but if I had to choose between seeing a premiership in my lifetime or a training base I know which I'd have chosen.

You win.
-
Hope so...

What's the go there stinga? What's in the works? They've only just in the last couple of years done some pretty big changes between Swan St and the Fwy.
-
Yeah, don't do that, how about you just send an email hey?

Dees Heading Back to the Red Centre in 2023

Don't agree at all. Ask Peter Jackson about the significance about what he has helped to instigate and build up there. -

Pert: “We will continue with the Alice Springs game,” Pert said. “It’s something that the players and the whole club understands, the importance of the work up there, and we have been playing there for a long time. We always give supporters a replacement home game to go to. “When we played two games in the NT we needed to because we were in financial trouble, then we improved our financial position, and we cut back to one game. “There is not a financial need now, but as a choice - we talked about it, and we involved the footy department as well - and we have no plans to stop playing that game. It’s something that we think is culturally important for the club. We are invested in that decision.” Source -
Given the location I was in favour of "Heaps Good Round".
-
They were in the blue squad and red squad jumpers too, so potentially some kind of intraclub today maybe?
-
No idea tbh! I literally saw it for about 3 seconds haha! Looked more like just an LED scoreboard at that quick glance.
-
On the pavilion side. I only got a quick glance as I drove down Punt Rd, but all the players were out, all the cones etc were setup and there looked to be an electronic scoreboard/screen setup - probably about 3m x 2m as a really rough guess. I'm assuming it's something they just wheel out there but I've never seen it before.
-
@kev martin- I drove past training on the way to work this morning and noticed there looked to be some kind of screen/score board setup on the boundary, is that new as of today or something you've noticed when you've been at sessions? Not a big story, but never seen that before. Cheers!

Got a source for this kind of stuff? Only thing I remember being reported was that he was denied entry (along with a group of mates) to a club and then police came along and they all had a chat. No mention of a 'dust up'. Happy to see your info, but would probably think twice about making up stuff like this if it isn't factual.
-
Didn't finish in the top 10 of their BnF. Not that huge a loss.
-
Absolutely, but it's never more acute as it is when a player requests a trade...
-
He's only just turned 21, I think we sometimes forget that given how quickly he burst onto the scene, and it seemed clear this year he was battling injury/soreness as the year went on. Fair enough, but you've probably noticed many others are seemingly still carrying the intense hurt at Luke's Mum daring to thank the club on the internet and have said she's "fair game". Pre-season this year to be fair, but you definitely held a different opinion of him before it became clear he would leave.
-
Fair enough too mate.
