Amateur hour for sure.

I wonder if he ran it passed the club. Seems strange to do it last minute.
-
Thanks for caring. I can’t make any promises.

Is it too early to put up a Deathride Pies thread for season 2025.
-
This. If he is the slightest wishy washy, half committed, PR neutral then all clubs will take notice and get to work over 2025 to work a deal with the Dees. It was very unlikely to happen this year and I think he’ll likely seek a trade next year unless there is some monumental shift in game style and performance. If he is truly after success then also doubt he’ll goto Pies as they are in no better position than us. Maybe he sees us further dropping out of contention and he doesn’t want to around to lead the next generation come through. Maybe he sees the opp to net us some picks but then jump ship at the same time. When you take the emotion out of it, it is actually a good outcome for both parties - if and only if we are well and truly on the slide.

AFL Trialing Ball Chip Tech for Goal Reviews
Gawndy the Great replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Maybe not yet, but I think at least a handball vs throw maybe something it can do In future iterations. -
OMG - that poor women will never recover from this.

I cant be sure of anything and have made no guarantees of such. It is just my opinion that 'miscommunication' is being used to take control of the narrative surrounding Trac's reported desire to leave. I guess all will become clearer in the days, weeks, months, years ahead.
-
Sorry but you are looking for answers that satisfy your desire to have Trac stay with MFC. Whilst it is a remote possibility, the 'miscommunication' narrative is an absolute cop out and I'm not buying it for a minute. For anyone to think nobody from the playing group reached out to Trac in the days/weeks following is ridiculous. Multiple people would have tried to directly, indirectly (via whatsapp group etc), facetime, phone call, in-person tried to meet with Trac. It would have taken one-person to make that contact to establish how he was going and then have that shared throughout the group. The fact that the playing group were unaware of the seriousness of Trac's physical and mental state and the reasons for his trip to Noosa, speaks volumes of the relationship between Trac and the playing group and club. Anyone that cannot see that is kidding themselves. The reported apologies for not returning calls / texts etc also says that it was perhaps Trac that initiated the isolation from the playing group... question is why would he do that? This being a simple 'miscommunication' problem does not sit well with me, especially given the unity of the club - with all the resigning's etc. Still my opinion, but to me it is abundantly clear Trac wants to leave for reasons unknown to most of the public but appears to be a combination of improving personal brand, unhappy with standards & club success, wanting bigger club, unhappy with medical treatment. Everything that we are seeing is likely damage control by MFC and Trac. Whilst he is unlikely to go this year, I think chances for him to be on our list in 2026 are < 10%.

I actually do enjoy talking hypothetically. No way I’m taking Trac if I’m Richmond but if I’m some bizarro world They offer 1 and 9, then I’d be very tempted.
-
1 and 9 would be so tempting. Take pick 1, 7 to draft. Pick 9 for Callaghan from GWS.
-
Granted all that maybe true. However the moment he dragged the club through the mud, that door closed on him. By that I mean leaking (directly or indirectly) to the media. I don’t care what the issue, deal with it privately. He still hasn’t denied that he wants to Leave. Has been reported he wants to play for a bigger club etc. That is not who I’d want leading my club and that’s ok - maybe he doesn’t even want to.
-
Nope that ship has sailed IMO. After all that has transpired I don’t think you can ever fully trust Trac to have the best interest of the club at hand again. He has shown a part of himself that cannot be unseen no matter the circumstances.
-
3 First Rounders and Quaynor as a hypothetical for Trac? In a heartbeat.
-
6 Viney 5 Langdon 4 Rivers 3 Salem 2 Gawn 1 Turner

I think this cloud over Kozzy will remain for the rest of his career. It isnt the first time this has come up and it wont be the last time either.
-
Even Gusy Brayshaw has come out of hiding.

Was a good spiel by Garry. It’s the only show where you listen to what he has to say as a Melbourne supporter. Other shows he does his job as commentator, host which is fair enough.
-
Funny, when Melbourne where the set destination, it was 2 first round picks based on Cal's Gettable podcast. Now that we are out of the picture and the Blues maybe a destination, its just 1 first round pick @ 12.

The real mind bender was a third source confirmed all three sources were Tom Morris.
-
i would site autocorrect, but the real story is primed for a Tom Morris exclusive.

Can we lift the veal of secrecy? I don't know a god damn thing and I hate it. Can we call a 24 hour MFC secrecy amnesty?
-
So the entire playing group have turned their backs on him except Chin?
-
Yes, if he goes , he is Judas.
-
He would be dead to me. There is no go home factor / family element about it - so for mine would become the biggest villain next to Maynard for the MFC. Id boo him with as much intensity as I would Maynard and other Filth. it would completely undo his legacy he has built with the MFC.
