Yes that's the best option for them, but no experienced coach would want to coach that mob for two to three years unless you pay them mega bucks. Roos had no interest in coaching Melbourne so we kept throwing more money at him until he couldn't say no.
That's been the concern for me with Van Rooyen, but sometimes you just have to throw them in and see what happens
I like the idea of Jackson rucking more and Gawn playing forward more, that would make it a bit easier for Van Rooyen because Gawn would attract the better defender. Plus Gawn is an excellent mark and a very good set shot. We have to try something different.
I agree with everything Lloyd said. Of course premiership aren't won in July, so he's saying that our current form and the way we're playing is not good enough to win it, and that's true.
There's a lot of talk about the players but I think the coaches need to lift. They need to find a way to combat the faster ball movement from the opposition.
I don't think personnel changes will make much difference. Teams are playing us better, they're moving the ball quicker and it's disrupting our game plan.
