Gawn and Grundy would be quite a weapon. My problem is Grundy was one of the best players in the competition. Then he got that mega deal and has been poor since.
Yes it's a big risk but I think the club is in a premiership window so they're looking at who can help us win flags in the next three years rather than in the long term
True, but sometimes these monkeys can galvanise the group and lead to success. Similar to Port Adelaide when they were labelled "chokers" in finals, then they won the premiership.
Even though we lost I came away with a smile on face because it was a thoughtfully enjoyable game. Sometimes you have to put aside your disappointment and for some people, their anger, and just say "Well done to both teams"
Geelong and Collingwood have been wonderful, I'm hoping they've peaked too early and will run out of puff come September. We will probably be playing one of them again in the first week of the finals.
