WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
Good to find out early he is not a big occasion player.

Preuss to Work on Forward Craft
I have a goof feeling this bloke is fully committed to becoming a very good AFL player. I will be looking to see a new body shape over the next two years.

Farewell Sam Frost
Gary Lyon made perfect sense today. Frosty should just play to shut down his man, work on his kicking but keep things basic, dish off to others. If he breaks even or beats a big bodied forward that is a good win for us. As Hafey said to Sheedy when he tried the fancy stuff,' You are a bloody back pocket plumber from Richmond, that's what we want from you. Look at it this way. If he plays against us, who wins Frost v Wiedemann Frost v McDonald Frost v Petty

Lyon: Save $$ on Tomlinson, Go All ln on Whitfield

Irish recruits
We really dropped the ball on Ireland. Amazing after what Jimmy and Sean brought to the game. It was like winning the lottery with those two. I loved watching the reserves with those two coming through. Still remember a break out game where I reckon Sean took a dozen marks in the last quarter. No reserve stats available in those days to say if i was right or wrong.

Jack Watts - let’s get him back
I think the WA Clubs and other would have gone NicNat

Jack Watts - let’s get him back
I remember that Sheahan bloke who does the TAC stuff showing footage of Watts in his draft year, Clearly an elite athlete but his footage just showed him, clearly taller than his opponents leading for marks at abut 35 metres out and then kicking accurately. While he looked good I was underwhelmed for a number 1 pick as there was little or no pressure from any defenders and none of him getting his own ball. Clearly remember Sheahan saying he was a certain 10 year player as a leading key big forward.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
UH I think what has confused a lot of people who have never taken any notice of Tomlinson before last weeks game was seeing him used as a ruckman. We have an acknowledged need for outside run and we target this bloke. I do not see the strategy. He does not look overly quick or play with the precision we are so desperate for..

Get Don Pyke
Sad really sad. like the young tough who has got away with scaring little kids with his stare until he meets someone who is not intimidated by it. Pathetic The contempt on Scotts face is priceless.

Finals Week 2
Yeah, I did hear that RN , just watched the last quarter and I am being a bit dramatic but I was underwhelmed.

Finals Week 2
We identify a need for outside run and the bloke we identifies plays in the ruck.

Poor old drysdale, I left him clear instructions on how to pick fruit . Now weeks later he says," i thought you were doing the picking?"Put him in the starting 18. he will fit right in.

Question Why was Goodwin given a 3 year extension with such urgency? Answer We had linear growth over the period, two finals victories and we wanted to secure him before he was approached by other Clubs. We believe he is a very fine coach. Thanks for you question.

I assume you realise when I said a nine year time frame should average four finals appearances I meant nine years. We have had one appearance in those nine years. Please do not make me go back further.

Linear growth, what a meaningless measure of success if you do not win a flag. With 18 teams and a 8 in 18 chance on average of making the finals each year every Club should make the finals 4 in 9 years. We are at 1 out of 9 and I do not wish to go back longer than that. it is a cop out for the Club to just talk re-each new coach/Admin regime and to only apply the time of their tenure. We are a Club, not the pert regime, Jackson regime and so on.

A Sit Down with the Coach
Noticed Goodwin when asked about the playing group said he had NO doubt they will come back raring to go to have individual and team success in 2020. A more experienced coach might have said, our strong expectation is.......... At this point all he is can do is assume that they will come back raring to go and fully committed both mentally and physically.

For those calling for others to put up or shut up at the meeting lets look at what has been acknowledged by Pert in the letter/email already and do not need to be raised again. Coaching area needs strengthening with new personal. Fitness and conditioning area needs strengthening with new personal. More changes still to come with acknowledges some personal under performing. So drop of criticizing posters who pointed these issues out long before the Club acknowledged them as problem areas..

Rawlings: No Runners Cost Dees
Goodwin response....play Lewis in the reserves for some leadership at Casey.

Rawlings: No Runners Cost Dees
Fair enough, however Goodwin talked about our brand after every game, so clearly he was talking about a style of play all players were expected to understand and execute. It just gets worse the more that comes out. These are professional coaches and players being paid much more than millions of other Aussie employees who learn and execute what i expected of them.

Rawlings: No Runners Cost Dees
Well,I know nuffing anymore. of all the issues raised here this year on demonland and all the issues the review would have looked at I would never have thought of talking about runners.
