Love your work guys. Just on Chandler how did you see his game. Certainly had the opportunity to make a massive claim for a round 1 berth with 1 goal 3 which easily could have been 4 goals. Didn't have massive numbers with 7 disposals but he did take 4 marks which is good for small forward and as mentioned could have booted 4. Where does Chandler sit in your calculations for the Bulldogs game?

Exactly. He should 1000% have posted a more thoughtful farewell message to the Dees, his teammates, coaches and just a importantly the fans. And he should have done that by proudly posting a photo of himself as a Demon and not in Dockers guernsey. Have a look at Lochie Hunter's farewell message in his thread and take a look at Jackson's. Which is the more classy/thankful/appreciative one. Or take a look at Weids farewell. He didn't even get to play in a flag and was effusive in his thanks to the club. Jackson took the money and ran. I'll always be thankful for those few minutes in the third but in the end he didn't look after us at all. He wanted to go home and that's fine but he wouldn't even engage with the club that could have given us (cliub, teammates and fans) something in return. I don't wish his career well.

The true unicorn here is the Top 10 pick that we didn't get. Make no mistake we got absolutely shafted here. Having said that there was simply nothing we could have done about it. If we let him walk he goes to WCE for free or worse yet he goes to Freo for free and they laugh at us even more. The Dees had to take this terrible deal and we'll go through this again next year with Kossi and Port will do the same thing to us and we'll have to lump it.

Do you think we should play Harrison Petty as a key position forward and if so who should replace him down back? Who else on our list can be experimented in a different position in 2023?

I like Freo but if they become a serious challenger to us then that might change very quickly.

God I hope there is nothing to this unconfirmed report but what worries me is that no Dees have been posting on social media today. The club on the other hand have been posting like it's going out of fashion.

Whilst I can't say whether he has or has not seen either play in person although I bet he did (at the very least at the state carnival).

There was an article yesterday that mentioned he was going on holidays on Saturday and that a decision was likely before then. He again met with his management and the Collingwood list manager today according to Mark Stevens on Twitter and that Pie insiders were confident. Well tomorrow is Saturday and no announcement has been made. If he wins an award tonight I'd expect to hear him commit on stage. Collingwood like a showcase.

As an international supporter now I can't get to games (maybe 1 a year). I've taken out a membership every year since I left Australia to support the club and this year I foolishly (in hindsight) upgraded to a premium (guaranteed GF) ticket as a result of 2018. I will definitely be downgrading the membership next year but I think I'm done financially supporting this club at all considering the meager offerings of joy that I receive in return.

Also we've only won 5 games since Natalie Portman came onboard. Coincidence?

David Neitz is one of the reasons I barrack for the Dees. A great footballer and a ripper bloke too. Could take a contested mark. I'd love to hear about his early career at centre half back and what was the impetus of his move forward.

I seem to recall another one of our players in the past having adductor issues. Can't recall who but.

I know this is all team-speak but I expect more fighting spirit from Jonesy. A bit more Alpha-male to keep the captaincy.
