  1. Thanks Saty good to hear your comment. As they say "It will be all right on the night!!" Hasn't changed my optisim for a stellar season and can't wait to see the Dees at the Cattery for a good old fashioned contest in a developing rivalry all of which helps build a smaller Club into a potential major player in the future.
  2. DV8 It's on the AFLW part of the AFL website. Two of the Sat games one twilight or arvo and the other the night game have bee on all season on Ch 7 but lately off 7 to mate or other station. Club also give details in the mid week prior to the next round should be there also. On Free to Air next Sat vs Crows.BTW.
  3. My understanding is that Goody gave up on that plan for the extra two behind the ball about half way into last year. Cant believe players can be so inflexible !(or selfish) If they aren't mentally right about this then let them learn at Casey. BTW what did they do before Goody invented this move? Start on the forward line obviously. Please if this is one of our real worries we have got problems. Send them on a Camp to get their heads in the right place!!! Players don't dictate rules or positions in the game and definitely not in this Demons era of success.

Lots of players go at least to the Army area maybe write to the Club and ask them to come over. With more members some will be in the "Outer" so a gentle reminder would be suitable. Good luck!

Agree to think Hore will take Lewy's spot is fanciful.

It's your choice to sit In The Southern Stand the race for our players and change rooms have been on the Members and Northern Stand side.as long as I have been a Dees Supporter (1958) so the Mountain is not moving for Mohammed!!

All good comments re our potential for Membership growth this season. 1. Dogs increase from 35,000 in 2015 to 47,000 in 2017 was based on the 2016 flag and Ballarat members coming on board (about 3/4,000) from my limited knowledge. We don't have a country boost but I believe a bigger supporter base potentially that cares and is crying out for success as each year passes and performance and success is more believable. 2. Those 90,000 plus fans in both finals were made up of a majority vs Hawks and a 75% mass of Red and Blue. Ie 67,500 est .Many in the Members (MCC) were I suspect either latent Dees fans using their ticket or visitors or guest tickets. Definite potential for new MFC Members (Dogs don't have that base) 3.There is no doubt the viral posts on social media since the 2017 disaster and subsequent Jack Watts media outrage are behind us and the good feel factor and vision is of a Club on the rise (4 years in a row) and football quality on our list sells HOPE and SUCCESS.Those 2 qualities are Huge motivation and therefore can be untapped results in the making. 4. I have enough faith in Gary Pert's goals and aims. Tempering reality with about a normal 10% increase will mean 50,000 in 2019. I sort of think we may get about 55,000 this year or more but perhaps not 60,000. The 70,000 will be a flag based increase or sensational continued performances of consistency over the next 2 seasons. 5. I remembering laughing at Ben Gales 3 -0-75 talk. It happened and has flourished. 5. Let's start by Gary's aims of 40,000 vs Power and I reckon 80,000 is well achievable for Round 3 vs Dons if both Clubs compete well in Rounds 1and 2.Plenty of presale tickets seem to have already commenced with 2/3 of the parts of the ground sold out. GA being one of the only 3/4 areas to be purchased. Good luck to us in 2019 many of us are living our dreams and hopes of decades of disappointment. 6. Don't miss it It's happening before our eyes and IS REAL

I assume you mean you reside in NSW !
  11. Likewise S Tigers and Saints and prior to that the Cats At GhMBA And Bombers block buster as well. Have Cats tickets and Bombers Tigers and Pies QB sending for in morning to MCC via My Gabba Trust Recipricol rights tickets ability on Level 1.Only $39 for adults in MCC Members Reserve great value.

That's not the current opinion of AFL people at the moment! Kelly is one of the best disposers in the AFL ! Christian is playing career best footy at the moment as a result of extra work and commitment during the last 2 pre-seasons. Deserves any luck after injury cruelled his first 2/3 seasons. Csn be even better off the wing in a premiership team!!
  13. That's contrary to his pre season so far which has been great Sunday didn't ruin that. He still might make Round 1 as we need pace from half back urgently.
  14. Reckon he was saying Jack could be better than Todd not Clarry! only my take on the comment and the jury is still out but Jack has to be available consistently!

Jakey will be the best thing to dash through the snow if he makes a successful comeback and we go on to great deeds! Bwtter than Father Chris! Huge kudos to the Club who again and again are leaving no stone unturned in trying to improve our players and provide a base for success. Just a thought how would Rance and Astbury react if Pruess (or Gawn) were added to the forward marking group after seeing our efforts (Tommy not at best) on Sunday. Reckon that might alter the weight and height scale. JLT matches are like horse trials don't trust them generally as each Club has there own agenda! Lets see how that pans out on the early rounds as fitness and firm kick in.
  16. Sorry I believe Spargs disposal is pretty good and agree with your comment in principle.
  17. Won't play in Round 1 Didn't shine or getvenough gamectime yesterday. Back through Casey and form of Spargo etc. and his form and teams will decide how quick an opportunity arises.
  18. Basically what you are purchasing is a reserved seat in an area of the ground which will be decided by the price of the area You want to sit(or are permitted by choice). I imagine you would pay about $20 or maybe $25 fir the dearer choice for the reserved seat. Follow the Clubs advice re seat reservations and good luck as it is a fantastic occasion to witness and despite today's result think it will be a game we can still win. Go Dees
  19. We are in good hands for leaders with the official Leadership Group plus Tom Mac Stephen May Jake Lever plus Hibbo Melkshake who all ooze knowledge and leadership and act as leaders also. Happy for Lewy to grace AFL for this year even if he misses occasionally the AFL and to keep Slobbo in check!!
  20. Is only 19 yrs has excellent skills is a consummate team player and uses the ball beautifully plays within his limitations and can/will only get better. Yes kicking can lack depthsometimes but I reckon Jesse's did also on a consistent basis and that never stopped us picking him. Reckon Spargs position in the team is his to lose at this stage. Good luck to Jeffy JKH and other prospective small forwards! Hope you all put your claim in to ensure our team is as good as possible.

Saw post today that Jake comes home Sunday. all went very well inUSA with Bill Knowles. Aiming to be back in full training group in a month. Round 8 is looking like return to Competitive play most likely VFL then AFL. Good Luck Jake can't wait till you return.
  22. With a little more luck and more continued excellence on the field fromTom and all the others they could really have the thrill of a premiership medallion around their neck.

Great interview on Max life and views on footy business and other time and the Club and his partnership with Pruessy! very cool and can see why he relates to staff players supporters and media, Msy not Captain Dees in his career but would be able to do the role justice as long as he reduced his off field interests. PS he has opened up food truck bring run by his younger brother selling jaffles! And says next week he's opening a wine bar. Definitely shoring up his after footy career and I think he is a natural for the media time permitting.
