A Josh Battle comp pick doesn't effect us if we have P5 and the saints have P6 (and then 7)

I'm open minding on future pick trading as long as we take a first and second round pick to the draft this year to keep adding young talent With that being said, they better be very confident re Oliver & Trac's 2025 prospects if we do trade out of 25'
Pick 5 when Saints win
Whilst not debuting this year I'd hopefully add JVR and potentially even Turner to the first group. I still hold a lot of hope for Bowey too. I don't think we're 'brimming with exceptional youth' but it's a solid group for a team that's been in contention for the last few years I think we'll take our first to the draft FWIW, the future first rounder on the other hand...
Looking forward to being advised by the media we should do the right thing and trade Christian to the Pies for a second rounder for his 'mental health'

Neither do I. I was suggesting they could be traded to other teams if essendon need additional picks.
Essendon are the best placed. Could even offer Trac a 30 year career as recruiter after his playing days. They have a surplus of mids...Parish, Tsatas, Hobbs, Perkins that they could trade for further Trac currency, on top of owning their own 2024/5 picks Richmond aren't trading 2 x Pick 1 for Trac although it does sound fun Pies don't have a first round pick this year
