  1. More likely his composure issues to blame I would have thought
  2. 1. Freo: no draft capital 2. Port: no draft capital 3. Adelaide: Rankine, Rachelle....no need for Pickett? 4. WCE: Unlikely to part ways with a potential top 4 pick for a small forward you'd suspect Intriguing stuff
  3. Further discussion into the Rivers midfield move required
  4. Get these commentators off
  5. Hunter prolific McVee classy and clean Rivers busy - like the midfield move Bowey excellent marking/bodywork for a player of his size Grundy a bit underwhelming
  6. I'm more of a Monday Night RAW man myself, but suspect the link to the AGM is available here: https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1272742/agm-livestream-monday-20-feb
  7. 0.98 cents on the dollar Traded or delisted to accommodate a Liam Henry list spot
  8. Lacks the poise But then again so does ANB and he's might end up playing 400 games?
  9. Uncapped youngster Jacob van Rooyen - unlikely, said Richardson, to debut in round one - is another tall forward option alongside Ben Brown, the latter having completed most of the pre-season.
  10. Sounds like an odd thing to train for
  11. Be a bit of irony if we end up with a great young key forward with a Freo draft pick
  12. Poor Harmesy. Was/is a genuinely good tagger, but isn't suited to his part time half forward / wing / mid bits and pieces role. Reckon reducing his role is partly responsible for him trying to do too much more often than not when he has the footy...desperate to take his chances.
  13. JVR Howes Laurie McVee
  14. I'm still confident Jacko might stay for what it's worth
  15. Fairly confident wording from Richo man
  16. Needs a 5 year extension to give him time to decide
  17. Good, has Elliot Yeo vibes
  18. King labels untried Demon a “walk-up starter” as Grundy still finding feet at Melbourne
  19. Jefferson, Howes, McVee 👍
  20. In my mind the optimal centre bounce mix looks something around the lines of this, in order of midfield minutes: 1. Oliver - The best mid (player) in the comp, should be in the middle every second he's on the field. 2. Viney - Will continue to be a midfield mainstay but would give him a slight haircut in his midfield minutes to allow someone like Pickett with a touch more speed to be thrown into the mix. Viney is capable as a pressure forward in short stints. 3. Petracca - The third horseman of the apocalypse, again will have stints up forward to allow for the guys below to run through. 4. Brayshaw - Would rotate him between half back & midfield, not sure about the % split but the Oliver, Trac, Viney combination do too much of the heavy lifting and we need someone like Brayshaw who is a strong accumulator to take the load off. Would utilise him similarly to how the Pies use Crisp. 5. Pickett - Want/expect to see him utilised more, but don't expect him to be getting large midfield minutes or we'd be taking one of our best forwards away from goal too much. 6. Harmes - The forgotten man. Would have him play his natural tagging game every once in a while against sides who have a clear best midfielder who does the bulk of the heavy lifting (think pre Dunkley Brisbane Lions). Otherwise he's a capable backup for when one of the big dogs is on the bench. I don't see room for Jordon or Sparrow in the inside midfield mix barring injuries - should they be serious about giving Pickett more midfield time that is. Expecting Jordon to be a utility sort who pinch hits everywhere, with Sparrow predominantly playing up forward as usual....assuming they both play. Wings are easy as Langdon & Hunter will be the first choice options. Would love to see Howes at some stage too given he looks like he has a fair bit of X-Factor. Contrary to popular opinion I'd have Jordon over Gus on a wing should injury strike. Would love to see Bowey on a wing too to add a bit more class but a touch too leftfield for Simon I'd suggest.
  21. Confirmed by Mitch Cleary on Twitter, suspect ACL for Williams
