Welcome Back to the Bottom of the Ladder
Our options are not great but I would definitely have Spargo ahead of Garlett. Spargo at least places some offensive pressure whereas Garlett applies zero.

Welcome Back to the Bottom of the Ladder
The next two round will confirm whether we are spoon bound. Up to the bye we play Hawks; Suns; Eagles; Giants; Crows; Pies. The nightmare scenario is 1/11 as I cant see us beating the four big guns before the bye. Even if we lose the one thing I want to see is better transition and forward pressure which has been non existent. Garlett cannot be part of a team that want to exert forward pressure. He must go.

Round 6 Non MFC games
It just goes to show Melbourne can make average team look good. Adelaide exposed the Saints today as a bottom eight side. Crows have killed them.

Round 6 Non MFC games
As depressed as I am about the Dees after watching GC am sure where better than them. Boy if we lose that one in two week we really will be at rock bottom!

Trade Petracca?
Totally agree. He not Colin Sylvia. If you want to rip further fabric out of the joint then trade one of our best potential players. Really send a great message to the other young players. Petracca maybe a bust there are no certainties but to trade him is not smart.

Making the finals
I love your optimism.

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
Lewis wonโt have time to ponder a Demons loss far to busy building a media career and pontificating on other teams. Kane Cornes on the money.

Round 6 Non MFC games
Totally agree. Years of being a basket case and getting top draft pick and where stone motherless last. Do club like Cats; Eagles, Hawks ever experience this humiliation. Shameful. As for Stephen May hang your head in shame

Sam Weideman + contract
I agree with that. One of the very few positives

POST GAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Was at the game and just to punish myself watched the replay. To me the worst part of the performance was how many times we kicked blindly particularly to the middle of the ground giving the Tigers direct access to score. Also contrast our forward pressure to Richmond. How many times did Richmond set up and waltz out of the back line. For those who propose Garrlet as some out of answer your kidding yourself. There is no place in the game for someone who canโt apply forward pressure he need to go and now.

POST GAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I flew down from the Goldy for this game. I think there was effort but the cattle in that team is so poor. The fact are we are looking at an extended period at the bottom. Please Mr President (Mr Invisible) move heaven and earth to get a Roos type to help Goodwin. This is more than the coach there need to be a complete overhaul. My highlight was sharing a lift with Neita and Hoppy after the game. Hoppy been in a good paddock!

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Not expecting to win but expect effort and body contact. At least if we lose show some fight. Also Goodwin spring some surprises maintaining the status quo guarantees a loss. Travelled down from the Goldy to watch donโt want to hit the bar to early!

May setback + Jetta knee injury (8-10 weeks)
Sub standard fitness, poor attitude and lack of trust are symptom of poor leadership and culture. Your point about leadership is spot on. As Goodwin said there are no excuses but boy we seem to be hearing a lot of them.

May setback + Jetta knee injury (8-10 weeks)
Spot on Jackson and Roos dragged this club to a year of respect. Where we are now is a footy tragedy particularly if the rumor of dissent with McCartney are correct. Healthy organisation sort issues internally. Even if McCartney is the Atilla of coaching his white anting in the media reflect poorly on those involved. If this is the organizational culture where stuffed. There need to be mechanism where differences can be discussed and sorted if they donโt exist that poor if they do exist and players find it easier to white ant then culture will be destroyed. Mr President or should I say Mr Invisible better get on top of this cancer.

May setback + Jetta knee injury (8-10 weeks)
Culture is everything. The way Melbourne is playing completely indicative of poor culture. If these stories are true reflect very poorly on team leaders. As for McCartney probably call it as he see it (good on him) and the precious players who revolted against the camp once again throw their toy out. These performances and stories really make it hard to support this club. You can wear losing but these players have no connection with the pain of the supporter group.

Richmondโs fierce attack on the footy
Excellent post blaming the coach is way to easy. Yes the players are to blame but getting ahead of themselves reflect an overall club culture than accept mediocrity. Good club would not pat themselves on the back for being flogged in a prelim.

The Writing Was/Is on the Wall
Just looking for one positive each of the team we have lost to are in the eight. Up until the bye there only two games currently you would rate us a chance Suns & Hawks. Tigers, Eagles; Giants; Crows; Pies look tough. If we beat Suns & Hawks we turn 3 win 9 losses. Scary. Imagine the weekly presser about transitioning and connecting better. At what stage is it acknowledged that every level of the club need to be reviewed. Maybe an Armageddon year is better than mediocrity. It will force hard truth to be confronted.

Round 5 Non MFC games
On current ladder position we are the second worst team in the comp. that $26 for the spoon is looking enticing. Based on current form Swans and Kangas will battle us for number one draft pick. Evidently when we connect and transition better we will no longer be easy beats. Yeah and pigs will fly.

Love point seven Ivan Drago. Putting aside the technical analysis (let face it where just no good) it would at least make me feel better if the coach stopped serving up the same platitudes week in week out. Whilst where losing how about trying some new things like TMac to defence, one on one; stacked backline; brawl anything we are so meek and accepting of defeat.
