TRAINING: Wednesday 23rd April 2025
He’s a 26 year old who’s played 20 AFL games and kicked 6 goals. The most goals he’s ever kicked in a game is 1. The most marks he’s ever taken in a game is 5. And the most hitouts he’s ever had in a game is 8. I want all our players to be the best player in the competition but he’s had chances! Give me even an out of form JVR or Fritsch over a bloke who’s clearly not up to the level any day of the week. Would love to end up with egg on my face but there’s just absolutely zero evidence to support the fact he’ll make it as a serviceable AFL player, and plenty to the contrary.

He’s 26! There’s a reason he’s only played 19 AFL games in that time

PREGAME: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Danny I love your mail and respect you as a poster but that would be the worst forward line ever named in the history of VFL/AFL football…

Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
Before everyone cracks open the Moet, Twomey also said that Jackson has told Freo he’s perfectly happy there and that he thinks Jackson’s more likely to stay at Freo than leave.

- PREGAME: Practice Match vs Fremantle
Why? Players can get injured at any time, in games against opposition, intraclub games and during training. The most important thing is to try to get the players match fit by round 1. You can’t do that by just wrapping everyone in cotton wool. If we rested our best players again this week then we run into GWS in round 1 with those players having zero match play before the game, whereas GWS would’ve had two practice matches and then also played in round 0. We’d get absolutely run off our legs.- Welcome to Demonland: Jack Henderson

Steven May plays off 3! I’d kill to have a swing that terrible!- Welcome to Demonland: Jack Henderson
The big clue is the very start of the video where the text says “Monday 18 November”!- SSP contenders
They like to give the state leagues whose seasons start on March 22 a month to be able to get their houses in order without disruption.- Welcome to Demonland: Jack Henderson
Nice little snippet on the club’s instagram where Jason Taylor talks about this in the pre-draft meeting. As some have said, if Adelaide had taken Langford we’d have taken Tauru at our first pick and then Hendo later in the draft to balance out the list. As it happened we went two “smalls” so took Johnson as the tall. Edit: @adonskihas managed to successfully embed the video above which I could not!- PREGAME: Match SIM vs North Melbourne

Haha you’ve got this the wrong way round OF. The second bit is not in question at all. The first bit, we’ll see!- Welcome to Demonland: Jack Henderson
I’ve got a little family connection to Jack as well so rapt to have him at the Dees. Fitness won’t be an issue, he’s an elite runner and has kept himself ticking over in the off-season. Club have earmarked that ANB high half forward spot as his role.- First player to debut in 2025?
Well Campbell is clearly the most “ready” to debut seeing as he’s been in the AFL system for over a decade. But you’d think it’s Langford who’s the most likely to debut in round 1.- Kozzy Homesick & Wants to Leave?
The same thing might have been said about us prior to 2021. It’s going to happen. They’ve got comfortably the best list of 25yo and unders in the competition and very few holes in their list. If you don’t realise that you’re not paying enough attention. - AFL Betting
