My post was in response to a poster or 2 who said he trained today, which he didn't.

You do realize that your not suppose to make sense.

The point is sacking coaches doesn't solve the problem. Good clubs work with the coach to obtain better results.

Buckley is in his 9th year as coach and has survived seasons where supporters and media have called for his sacking, Clarkson coached a premiership side in his 5th year and during his early years there were calls from supporters to get rid of him, Hardwicke coached Tigers to a flag in his 8th year as coach after quite a few years of the media suggesting should go and constant calls for his sacking from supporters. The point is each club had boards who were prepared to back their coaches and dismiss outside noise.

Perhaps just for a bit of levity.

Probably the same moves that Buckley made after quarter time and that Clarkson made during the whole game, then again it may have been the same tactics that Simpson employed against Gold Coast.

The biggest problem with Sam I think is confidence. He has shown he can perform, he just needs a major boost of confidence.

It is lucky that the people running the club now don't have the weakness of mindset that a number of posters on this site do. To sack Goodwin at the end of this year would just send the club back a number of years in it's progress but hey, we have to keep the the fans invigorated so we can win games.

He has been that way all his life. Full of cr#p.
