I was 9 or 10 when we lost the preliminary final in 1987. At the I don't think I realised the enormity of what it meant to lose that game and it was the first and only time I had seen my grandpa cry. Less than a year later he would be gone and never got to see us reach the Grand Final again. I wear his jacket to every game of footy I go to.

For me it is two finals we played against the Blues. 1994 and 2000. I got so much pleasure from beating them against the odds.

Congrats Daisy.

Firstly congrats to Daisy on the birth of her twins. I noticed on the instagram post that Daisy put up today being the 18th that the twins were born on the 15th and then I remembered some commentary in the last quarter by Bec Goddard congratulating Daisy but then weirdly sorta of backing it up and mentioning the upcoming birth. Had it been announced at the time of the game and I missed it? Or was Bec not supposed to have revealed it and quickly backtracked? Am I looking for a conspiracy where none exists? Anyway congrats to Daisy and her partner Ben.

I wonder if behind closed doors means inside/another venue away from prying eyes or don't come and spy on our super secret game plan being practiced on an open field.

Where's the announcement? I thought there was supposed to be a press conference this morning? The club fired out a couple of quickfire tweets with Maxy saying Stay Tuned and nadda since.

They're not out of the woods yet. They could still be co-opted by the AFL if they're deemed fully fit and the other teams wise up to our strategy and pull players.
