DESPITE an ordinary two seasons, Melbourne key-position player Brad Miller has become a target for Sydney. Swans coach Paul Roos yesterday acknowledged interest in the 24-year-old who is out of contract with the Demons. "We've had preliminary discussions with Melbourne and it'll probably start to heat up a bit now," Roos said. Miller has played with success at both centre half-forward and centre half-back, but Roos said he was looking at Miller as another tall-forward option. Melbourne list manager Craig Cameron said he was aware of Sydney's interest, but declared Miller a required player. "We've offered him a two-year contract and we're waiting for a reply," Cameron said. "We really rate him as a person with great leadership qualities and we want him to stay." Miller has played 31 senior games out of a possible 46 for the Demons over the past two years. i'm willing to play of the half back flank. I get around 12 over the 100metre sprint and have a very trusty left foot. I play on the wing for my club team and my school team. I try and model my game on Adem Yze as my friends admit i have a few freakish abillities. I also win read the play well and have pretty safe hands. Guys i'm 16yrd so you'd think i'm a bit young but i'm around 179cm tall so i dont think i'll be the smallest playing. Once again i am willing to play but if i were to play, would you be able to give me the details as to which area where playing. thanks.

I know the Perfect solution. Nick Sautner :lol:........Just Joking. On a serious note, there is a kid who played in the TAC Cup Grand Final for the Calder Cannons and the name is Darcy Daniher. Strong mark, good kick and reads the play exceptionally well. If Sydney or Essendon don't pick him up under the F/S rule then i think he is the best Key Forward we should look at beyond the 1st round of the draft. On the other hand Henderson could possibly go top 3 so we should forget about him.

I wouldn't say he is coach of the year yet but he has definitely had a massive impact on the club already. Good on you Bails. And yes..... BRING ON 2008!!!

I personally think that we should not get Blake. To me he looks like a back-up ruckman at best. I saw Meesen as a junior and he looked like a very good player. For some reason Blake just doesn't look as if he has what it takes as he is pretty slow and not a big engine. IMO he is specialty is his tap work but everything else he does on the footy field looks quite ordinary. I'd much rather Meesen.
