  1. sorry, when i wrote "Bell" i was meant to write "Nathan D. Brown". so here is my top again: 6 - Green 5 - Jones 4 - N.Brown 3 - Sylvia 2 - Mclean 1 - Bruce
  2. 6 - Green 5 - Jones 4 - Bell 3 - Sylvia 2 - Mclean 1 - Bruce
  3. Robbo will play out his days with the Demons. He's turning 30 next year and we won't get much for him in trade week. The boys love him at the club so he probably won't go.
  4. I know Weetra spent alot of time on the bench but i didnt see him get one touch the whole game. To me he looks a long way away from playing afl. The same goes for H.Neville as he didnt have any impact on the game but im afraid that Neville will be gone by the end of the year.
  5. I watched the telecast today and I am amazed that Poyas was not named in the best. he was best on ground at quarter time with 12 disposals and was a good contributer for the rest of the game. On a positive note, Stefan Martin looked very impressive with a big grab and goal in the 1st quarter. But it was dissapointing that we kicked 13.24
  6. Why would he come to us. He mentioned that he would want to stay at Carlton next year + with our young developing forward line getting better, I would rather pick up a young forward in the draft next year.
  7. I really dont want Collingwood to win the flag. I think Geelong or Hawthorn will win it.
  8. Captain : David Neitz Vice captain: Brad Green, Brock Mclean, Cameron Bruce Coach: Kevin Sheedy Delisted players: Simon Godfrey, Heath Neville, Daniel Ward, Matthew Warnock, Ben Holland, Daniel Hughes®,Shane Neaves® Traded players: Brad Miller, Chris Johnson Retired players: Clint Bizzell, Nathan Brown First draft pick: Rhys Palmer Rookie Draft: Shane Valenti, Peter Summers Football manager: Mark Riley 07 Bluey: Jones or Jmac 2008 team B - Whelan Carroll Frawley HB - Bruce Rivers Bell C - Johnstone McDonald Green HF - Bate Newton Robertson F - Sylvia Neitz Davey R - White Jones McLean I/C - Bartram Sylvia Yze Jamar Emer - Wheatley, Moloney, Palmer
  9. hes kicked 9 once or twice and lots of 7's
  10. i posted a topic a couple of weeks ago on Peter Summers saying that he is ready to play afl and once again he is named BOG
  11. I hope Jonesy wins it. after round 19 this would be my top 4 1 - Nathan Jones 2 - James McDonald 3 - Daniel Bell 4 - Jeff White
  12. it says on injuryupdate.com.au that brock will miss 1-2 matches with a groin. With the way the boys played against the bulldogs last night i would leave the team as it is and keep playing the youngstars, however if frawley doesn't pull up then bring Bate in for him (if fit)
  13. FB: Bell Carroll Frawley HB: Bizzell Ferguson Wheatley C: Johnstone McDonald Green HF: Pickett Bate Bruce FF: Davey Newton Sylvia Foll: White McLean Jones Int: Moloney Dunn Jamar Ward 50/50 between Jamar and PJ. Maybe Jamar coz he has had more AFL experience.
  14. Sheedy or Ratten. Williams (Sandy) is a good coach but the Sandringham list is the best VFL list by a mile. At one stage i think Williams (Sandy) coached th Northern Bullants and did not have much success so it would be a risky choice to select him as coach. Sheeds has been coaching almost half his life and has tones of experience. Ratten has already showed us that he Can coach with the couple of outings with Carlton.
  15. Green - 6 Carroll - 5 Newton - 4 McLean - 3 Holland - 2 Ferguson - 1 I gave Newton 4 because he was probably our best forward in the second half, Carroll 5 due to the fact that he beat Hall, Green 6 as he was our best midfielder. The other 3 tried hard
  16. Ye i totally agree with you DD36, Ward is coming to the end of his career and with the dees with nothing to play for we should play the youngstars. Debut Jace Bode next week . He definately deserves a go at the top level by his performances in the lest month.
  17. I've heard a lot about the possibility of Shane Valenti being rookied by an AFL club but I have heard nothing about Pete Summers. I've been going to the Sandringham games this year as well as watching them on TV and am very impressed with this kid. He was on Essendon's rookie list at one stage a couple of years back, now a 23 year old he has been a big contributor in the majority of Sandringham's games this year. His decision making and finishing skills have been very classy. I know most of you think it will be better picking up a a younger player (eg. 18-20 year old) but personaly I think he is ready to play AFL. What are your thoughts on whether he is good enough or not to make it to the top level?
  18. Adelaide - Ben Rutten (quality defender) Brisbane - Jonathon Brown (can win a game off his own boot) Carlton - Heath Scotland (running defender with classy foot skills) Collingwood - Scott Pendlebury (up and coming midfielder, only 19yrd) Essendon - Alwyn Davey (2 davey's in the one team!!!) Fremantle - Matthew Pavlich (see jonathan brown) Geelong - Garry Ablett (absolute superstar) Hawthorn - Buddy Franklin (freak!!!) Kangaroos - Brent Harvey (very consistant midfielder who can kick goals) Port Adelaide - Chad Cornes (can play back, midfield or forward, what more do you want) Richmond - Nathan Foley (under-rated midfielder who keeps racking impressing) St. Kilda - Nick Riewoldt (see pavlich or brown) Sydney - Brett Kirk (tagger and a true leader) West Coast - Dean Cox (best ruckman in the comp) Western Bulldogs - Brad Johnson (31yrd and is still improving)
