Sorry disagree, struggled to get a game in the Seniors and only did because of injury. Traded to Crows for next to nothing, may have played 12 games last year but again did bugger all in them (like the Dees days), pretty poor finals series also. You cannot say a player has "done pretty well" if they are at their 3rd club after being traded for a 3rd round pick then then being traded again for next to nothing (in a deal that hurt my brain trying to figure out). Don't get me wrong, all credit to him to still be playing AFL, but i would not call it a "Ex Melbourne player + Hawthorn = success" moment.

Poor Dawes, he frustrates the hell out of me at times but this is just plain cruel. Every time he thinks he has overcome this issue it bites back. I am happy Pedo seems injury free to cover Chris if need be (because we don't actually know how long he is out) and really i think they are almost identical in their impact on games, maybe Dawes works a little harder but Pedo can mark, they just seem really similar in the way they contribute. I think we have the players to cover if he is long term, and it's time he didn't rush back.
