Thanks for at least taking notice of the point!!! Most replies on here have made me see that it's pointless putting up what you have been told. Hi fellow Judd enthusiasts. I have been talking lately of Judd not coming to the Demons, however I just received an e-mail from someone who is a good friend of my Father who has began to change my tune. This man (for you who can try and work it out) is on the Melbourne Coterie Group (he's the one that got the money to get Davey off the Rookie list) and one of the richest guys in Melbourne and really well connected in business, so plenty of clout. He has said he is 100% on getting Judd to Melbourne and will give the club as much financial support as he can to help get Judd. If a few more extremely wealthy business men step up like this guy has then I'll be feeling much closer to changing my tune. Just thought I would fill my fellow Demonlanders in on any news I receive.

But even if that 200,000-300,000 means nothing, there are more business ventures outside for him at Collingwood, the Blues and the Bombers. We don't really have anything Judd wants, other than he barracked for us, but we don't know how much of a supporter he really was, I know alot of people who go for the Demons, out of all them only me and my brother GO for the demons like everyone here on Demonland. Fans like us are rare.

The more I think, the more I realise, we are not going to get Chris Judd. He will be either a Pie, Blue or Bomber. Just fact. If he doesn't go to us I would love him to slip through to Richmond. But we cannot get Judd, don't have the money that those 3 clubs will pay him and he can say all he wants and we can say all we want money doesn't matter to him. But if we say "Judd join us, we will pay 900,000 a season" and one of the other three say "Judd join us, we will pay 1.2 million a season. No matter who you are your not turning that down. Plus, Collingwood has a chance of winning by the looks of things. That works against Carlton and Essendon. Therefore it comes to the Pies. Great facilities, money money money, options outside of football, talented team. They have everything in there favour to at least convince him to announce them as favoured option. Even if there isn't any trade bait.

Could very well be, although with Storm, us and the Melbourne Victory occupying it they will not be exclusive like Lexus centre. We are lucky to have a club like the Victory around because they add alot of cash, lets not forget they are only 2,000 members off the kangas this year. So they are cashed up. However I do not think sharing the facility will make much difference.

And there it is. I definately think if Judd anoints us the preffered option, say goodbye to Bate.

I did not mention money. Im saying that he may not have been the big Demons supporter we are making him out to be, therefore the romantic notion that he barracked for us may very well mean zero to him.

If I was Chris Judd I would sin and break Gods laws in every way possible, then die just to become a Demon so I may play for Melbourne. But you know im not Chris Judd, none of us are. Does anyone actually know how big a supporter he was....? He may not have been the rabid supporter such as ourselves on demonland. He could have just been a go to a few games guy. Was he a member? We don't know these things. I have plenty of mates who go for the Demons. But they do not really GO for the Demons. If this is the case, the romanticism in the world won't work.

Well im not making up what this person has said. Never claimed he was 100% right though. I don't think Mclean wants to go. I do think Richmond want him. But what you have said has pricked me to say, he is not in line for captaincy right now. He won't be captain next year. And contract doesn't matter if he agrees. I do not think we will let him go but if he agreed then contract doesn't mean sh*t.
