  1. I'm obviously happy we got the points, but it felt a little flat. Not even sure who our star was. Probably Tommy in the first half. And some of our smalls kicking goals when we needed, Spargo, Kosi, ANB etc. Will need to lift big time against the Doggies and lions.
  2. McKay should NOT be outmarking anybody right now!!!
  3. This is real workmanlike. Pretty uninspiring half so far. We're not going to get away with this sort of stuff against some of the other teams flying at the moment.
  4. 12 months ago, Tommy would have handballed that. Would have missed the mark, turnover to the other guys So good to see his confidence so high.
  5. Tommmyyyy! He's having a hell of a year. It's like the man time travelled.
  6. THAT'S HOLDING THE BALL
  7. Shouldn't be gifting them those sorts of opportunities!
  8. I love how we've finished, and paced games this year but gee we look a little slow out of the blocks. I hope it's not complacency. The Blues are NOT THAT BAD. They only lacked polish and experience against the Doggies, and we only just scraped past them last year (I know we are a different team know), so they should not be underestimated. Yes we should beat them, yes we're a much better side, but these things often mean nothing. Got to keep up the pressure today.
  9. With Fritter now free to play, this is what I would do, but I suspect Goody won't drop Melksham.
  10. FREEEEEEETEER Great outcome, was honestly not expecting such good news. Mostly because, well, you can insert most things that have happened to/at this club over the last xx years. Now let's get those Swans. We've lost a few we shouldn't have, time to start payback.
  11. The most important thing is we got the 4 points. Fritter capitalised. Kosi was electric, Salem was solid. But geez not convincing at all. And to top it off, Tomlinson ☹️ Weird to say it after a win, but we have to dust ourselves off after this and bounce back hard next week as the Swans won't be easy. But a win is a win, again, past Demons would have lost this one.
  12. Dees by 61 points, heard it here first.
  13. Completely agree. He's hard to gauge because he rarely has 'big' games stats wise, but he's smart and can be deadly by foot. He just comes under the spotlight a lot more when everyone else is firing.
  14. It's great that we're capitalising on Fritter given that we may lose him for a week.
  15. Melksham's delivery was sublime
  16. KOSSIE! That moment is a shining light in an otherwise dark day! Let's hope that lights a spark!
  17. Getting schooled by these spuds. If we don't come out breathing fire and somehow remembering how to play the game, the big ole question mark will be well and truly over our heads again (rightfully).
  18. Oskar poor. I thought our days of persisting with VFL standard players in the firsts was over.
  19. Melksham's best delivery into the 50 Langdon should have gotten a free Needed that goal
  20. Not how I saw BB's first goal (the first one was more like it, and likely a goal anyway), but I'll take it!
  21. Pathetic. Nobody's running. F50 entry (on the few occasions we have found the ball) has been poor. Getting smoked
  22. I never thought this was going to be an annihilation. It's the sort of game that has historically bothered us. Plus the Roos have a spell on us for whatever reason. I expected a contest from a team with nothing to lose and everything to prove. But we're getting carved up here. Our goals were largely lucky. We better come out a different team or it'll potentially be a very embarrassing day.
  23. We CANNOT take the Roos for granted. They did beat us 17 times straight (got to play on the psyche) and they have nothing to lose here. We're a different beast this year, but I hope we came to play and not just expect the win against a struggling team.
  24. How good was our defence? May Lever and Salem were huge, as always. Hibbo shut out Dusty. But a guy that doesn't get much attention is Tomlinson. Nothing fancy, but he is doing what he needs to do and is an integral part of the fortress. Need to check our points conceded stats but it must be looking pretty silly now.
