  1. So proud of TMac. This year could have been so different but he's taken this opportunity by the scruff of the neck. We all have, really.
  2. 100% Good teams find a way. Special teams destroy when they get a whiff.
  3. With May to return, Petty finding his feet and Hibbo playing a blinder, tough to see Jetta finding his way back.
  4. One of life's greatest pleasures is giving the Hawks a good pantsing. Even better is that we did all the destruction in a quarter. Imagine if we connected for a whole game!? We went from no firepower last year to an abundance of potential goalkickers! AND we have Weed and Brown to return, who had great games in the 2s. The future is here!
  5. I was one! Haha (But I've called it heaps of times haha)
  6. Yeah boiii! Reward for Kossie's hard work and repayment for the BS free against Max.
  7. I love that we're doing this to the Hawks.
  8. It's happening!! Lock it in! Haha
  9. Unleashed. Forget the first 3.25 quarters. This is the message to the rest of the comp. This is what we need to do. Pure fire.
  10. I hear Gimpey every time
  11. Frosty! Hahahaha I don't miss that kick!
  12. I'd love us to blow up from here and win by 50. We have the ability.
  13. Max in front of goal... CAPTAIN!!!
  14. BLOOOOOOOODDDDYYYYYYYHELLLLLL
  15. ... And we keep hearing we're working on it?! Jones' miss was killer. Misses like that can cost games. He's had a stellar career but I'm looking forward to a deserved retirement. Somebody else can be on the end of Melksham's class delivery.
  16. Completely agree, the intensity was evident since first bounce and never let up.
  17. That's just about the best all round game I've seen by us in a long time. Intensity for 4 quarters, against quality opposition. We worked around the May loss, everyone put in, and bought in to the brand. Leadership around the ground. Very fast throughout the day. We're still missing two forwards, will be interesting when they return. Trac, Max, Viney, Fritter, Langdon, Lever great. Really enjoyed Hunt's run today as well.
  18. That's all Kossie's! And to Selwood? *Chefs kiss*
  19. Oh man that's the best thing I've seen in a long time. Hahaha Great work, Lever
  20. Yeah boiiiii! Fritter! Has had a great day.
  21. Loving the 3-0 feeling! Ok, Ill start with positives. Langdon, Maxy and Kossie, stars - great game. Also liked Hunt's run, much more effective today. 3-0 and we haven't even played close to our best. I've seen many seasons where we have not played our best, and been 0-3, so yeah, can't argue with that. As for not playing our best. We are still not converting. Clarry was poor in front of goal, we will need those one day. Maxy missing from 15 is not good, either. We still fade at alarming rates, example being 4 quick goals scored against us in Q1. We were also assisted today by some GWS injuries, no doubt. Got to keep that in mind. Jetta did not look good. Toweled by Green. We will struggle against the Doggies (who tore us a new one last year), the Swans (who also made us look silly last year) and probably the Lions. Also Richmond. They will come back firing. It's great being up right now, the wins are awesome as they give us a platform to make a charge this year, but I really hope Goody and the boys are looking at this and know that we can do a hell of a lot better, and will aggressively pursue it. We'll need to be much better to fend off the better teams. Go Dees. (I believe)
  22. While I'm thinking about it, this might be super strategic for next week, but I reckon we do a sneaky marking/kicking practice sesh this week. GWS won't know what hit 'em.
  23. We've got to take our chances going forward. We weren't perfect, but the scoreline flattered the Saints. But wth half a forward line, and now 2-0 it's a great outcome. Can't ask for more than that, we can only get better from here! Man I love beating the Saints! Oh and go Kossie! ELECTRIC!
  24. As they say, 4th time lucky!
