  1. Me too. On both points. Hibberd is a brilliant and promising current custodian of no. 14.
  2. After witnessing Melbourne's demolition of Carlton today I am increasingly becoming bullish. Rocky, do you still think that your "not sure this current style will win big games"? like the one against Adelaide next week...I think we'll smash 'em.
  3. We smashed Carlton. We'll smash Adelaide.
  4. What's better than beating Carlton by a point? Beating 'em by a hundred! HA HA! GO DEES!
  5. Melksham is my favourite player and I can't believe Essendon let him go. He can kick with either foot, can crash a pack and come out with the mark, set others up for easy shots at goal. His game today was outstanding but not surprising .
  6. Loved the 69 point smashing of Gold Coast last weekend. Wish I was there at the ground to witness it in the flesh. Looking forward to an even bigger smashing of the woebegone and hapless opponents this weekend.

In this article it is going as low as Rnd 7 so Rnd 9 must be a little more secure for those already in i would think..... https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/afl-2016-is-the-final-eight-already-done-and-dusted-20160502-gokd93.html Quote
  8. Gotta love Oscar's belief in our forwards!
  9. Agreed. Those two games were indeed highlights. But aren't you forgetting Melbourne's triumphant victory last year over Adelaide at the Adelaide oval? Also, I was there at the G when we rolled the Hawks in the last quarter (in the game you mention). I can't remember a more satisfying win against the Hawks in my whole life. I couldn't speak for three days for yelling so much in that game. Come on Rocky, the signs are good, jump on, Dees are on FIRE!
  10. The link you provide is two years old. I appreciate your research but I think it is out-dated. Melbourne has improved significantly since then. Just look at the last 3 matches this year (2018) with wins over St Kilda, Essendon and Gold Coast - especially given Melbourne now on Saturday has equalled the AFL record of inside fifties. And we smashed the Suns by 69. Go Dees!
  11. Clarrie's goal was a highlight of the game and a major steadying influence if not a sealer and a privilege to eye-witness. Watching the replay (thanks previous posters!) reveals the details: Salem's great tackle on Billy Hartung saw the ball spill to Kent who was tackled but still managed to get the ball to the anticipatory brilliance of Neal-Bullen who unfortunately dribbled his kick forward, but it was enough for Clarrie...he adjusted mid-lead, collected cleanly, turned on a coin moving to his left leaving his opponent a further metre behind and with supreme balance put the ball on his boot and over his shoulder for an unforgettable sausage roll. Onya Clarrie!
  12. I'll be at the G this Sunday for another great Demon triumph. Hope you are too! It's the emblem...
