Who should our next coach be?
Folks, we want Ross Lyon and here’s why: My eldest brother is mates with him and I can get ALL the goss and print it right here on good ol’ Demonland in a jiffy. ??

TRADES, DELIST, PROMOTE
Hibberd? I don’t know about that. He’s shown us a lot this season, and I reckon he’s got one, possibly two good ones left. Former AA. We need players like that for the younger ones to look up to and learn from.

It’s very easy to forget that Bennell has actually exceeded our expectations so far. May he continue to.

Smith over Lockhart? ?

Are We The Mentally Weakest Side Ever?
Very well collated and presented argument. However you’re not factoring in the other 55 years. Our exceptional premiership drought is an albatross around the neck of everyone who dons the red and blue. It surely contributes considerably and negatively to the club’s psychology. How could it not?

Are We The Mentally Weakest Side Ever?
Don’t ask Melbourne supporters this question. You’ll never get an unbiased answer. Ask all the other club’s supporters. They’ll all say “Yes”.

It seems the majority of players have found their disposal mojo and sharpened up their kicking accuracy, whereas AvB is struggling pretty hard in this department. Too often resorting to an indiscriminate kick to a contest rather than finding the loose option.

To be generous towards the original poster, social distancing is rubbish in the sense that it’s a rubbish thing to have to do. I don’t think too many people enjoy it’s necessity. But “necessity” is the operative word here.

Trac's Last Goal
The bounce into goal was also pretty delightful. The joys of an oval ball, or as my dad would call it “Sherrin-dipity”.

POSTGAME: Rd 14 vs St. Kilda
A game here and there, for sure. But I’d like to see him on the track for the most part. You’re right, he will be great one day but I think getting games into him is the fastest way to make that happen. He does get a bit too clever quite often, but he’s often just centimetres from pulling off some ridiculous [censored] (that mark he went up for and very nearly took down would have been a MOTY contender), the kind of stuff that spooks the opposition and gives huge confidence to his side. I’d like him to hone his timing and balance playing AFL, not scratch matches.

A buddy of mine is one of the fitness trainers In the Tigers hub right now. All things considered it’s a pretty calm atmosphere there, and they’re all getting on well. I wouldn’t read much into Hardwick’s outburst. He’s got a colourful mouth when he’s peeved, but apparently does an incredible job of keeping the mood pretty light there, generally speaking. I’ve been privy to a couple of Tiger functions, and I can tell you they have a very enviable club culture there.

Dropping Fritsch for being late is dumb, dumb, dumb. Fine him. Make him clean the showers. Do anything else that sends a message APART from harming the team’s chances of a much-needed victory. And dropping Lockhart is ridiculous. But who knows? Maybe he’s also being punished for something. Falling asleep during one of Simon Goodwin’s inspirational team addresses, perhaps.
