I suspect differentiating between what is reckless and what is deliberate is the hardest part. The impact and location should be fairly easy to adjudicate. Panel or no panel doesn't matter if there is consistency.
-
Should've got Barry Hall as the adjudicator, that way when Vincent, Salem, Bugg, Lewis and Hogan play 'on the edge' -as it has been referred to - only purely stupid/callous brain fades that Barry can relate to will give us half a chance in maintaining our better players..

Thanks guys, didn't know that was available - great game that one!

Ok lads, can someone more talented than I at media, put together a reel of best of dees 2017 so I can enjoy it and get merry over Christmas? Need not be long, or a short vid, but whatever you can muster. BTW, I would watch every game on AFL.com but I can't remember my details: feel free to just add highlights PS - I hate cricket...

Rd 1 for sure!

Classic!!!

What would you pay more money for to help the MFC further stabilize?
DeezNuts replied to DaveyDee's topic in Melbourne Demons
Bargain with pay per view to have the teams reap a percentage of profit (probably already does this, maybe through the AFL who pay clubs). Supply high quality leather jackets with a subtle demon logo on it (starting at $1000). Observe and model funding arrangements like in the US college teams. Partner with more service providers to pay a premium to your fav team. Perform better (increase your membership base). Make demonland a purchasable app and send the proceeds to the dees. Seek more generous sponsors... there's heaps to do. Or just ring Gutnik again.. But the last thing I would do is try to squeeze more out of players... -
List Analysis Potential v Reality
DeezNuts replied to Its Time for Another's topic in Melbourne Demons
Agreed, and he's the only Demon I've seen that employs a fend off as often as Dusty. He has confidence with the ball tucked under his arm - he'll improve! -
His read on the flight of the ball and his punch. Count his spoils for the year then come back... (BTW yes they're almost equilized with his clangers, but that wasn't the question).
-
I just wish there was a bit more choice for interstate memberships. I try to get down to Melbourne every round 1 and a few other games, but the armchair membership gives you very limited seats, with no bar access in some cases.

Hmmm, maybe it's time to send Viney Snr across to patch up the relationship. Wouldn't it be a total coup if we were able to snag him also it would undoubtedly make crows fans hate us even more... brilliant!
-
Yes very much looking forward to a AVB this year!
-
He has the attributes of Hassa Mann, and he quite visibly was emotional just when he was finding form and did his shoulder again, I think we give him another run at it - if he has a massive pre-season, he'll be his only limit!
-
I probably should've called it Vineys Feet not Foot because I understood that it might have affected both? I agree with the posters about taking as long as nexxe
-
Has anyone heard anything?
-
What I love about Tom is his endurance. Always comes first in the pre-season distance running. Could easily exhaust any backmen in the league. He really is an athlete, unassuming and should kick a few bags next year!
-
Great analysis mate. Really sets the scene from last year

Round 1: vs North Lets set the narrative straight!
-
It is what it is, achieved the targets so I'm ok with it. Time will tell anyway. So, where to now with the draft? Will we focus on midfielders or rucks? I personally believe we need both, but I'd be happy with a mature ruck and junior outside mid to develop. Thoughts?
-
A little of topic, but has next years draw been finalised? 4 games in 18 days really broke us... with Lever in now, we might have freed up some depth. How many games did we win without Watts during his injury towards the end of the year?

Lads lets move on please...

Good point, would've made the difference in 2017...

Dunn was better than Frawley, nevertheless, neither were within their prime to hold a spot today, to me that is:..
