Melksham will be lucky to get a game next week. I thought he was horrible yesterday...always going for the easy option
-
That was a good one too...his best game
-
Spot on He’ll Bent...how did I forget that. His debut was fantastic. Rivers had that same unfazed look about him as a Clarry did...a bit of spunk and a lot of class
-
Probably not the thread to post this in but when was the last time a Dees debutant played as well as Rivers did against Carlton. I thought he was exceptional - so poised, hard and skilful. A great prospect! Bloody excited to watch him and Kossie tomorrow
-
All three of them look exceptional!
-
The opinion that said players wouldn’t be good enough is just plain wrong and frankly laughable. Nobody who saw them play and understood the game would think that...a clear lack of understanding of the game
-
Not sure it is worth arguing the point as there is clearly a lack of understanding of the game and the attributes of those players...all four of them would be genuine be stars in today's game
-
Says the bloke that runs the club where arguably their greatest ever player doesn’t feel welcome. Fix up your own backyard you goose!
-
Smith isn’t up to it. He is a great athlete but not a footballer. The majority of our issue today was workrate after quarter time. Sort that out and we aren’t a bad team. TMac needs to find form quick
-
Rivers looks very good, Jackson has wow factor!
-
I agree Gonzo - Farmer, Schwarz and Jakovich were special. Looking back though I feel like I took Neitz in particular for granted. He was an out and out star of the competition. I'm from Perth so don't get to that many games in Melbourne but remember going to Docklands and watching him Kick 8 against carlton...he was completely dominant. Also Round 1 (cant remember what year) when he hip and shouldered Luke McCabe from the hawks (destroying McCabe's shoulder) and following up with the goal. Not many players can claim All Australian honours in two different key positions. Champion player, champion bloke!
-
Neitz, Stynes, then Lyon
-
A reminder of how good Mitch is...the greatest live football moment of my life!
-
That is a very good point. I have tickets to next week’s game but would rather not go and get the W
-
Essendon...they are a putrid club
-
I disagree...is that allowed? Not sure why you put me down/ attacked me after voicing my view which is a differing opinion to yours. See your above definition of troll...it’s a perfect fit

My comment was I thought Spargo had a better game than Bedford. Read it however you like though champ
-
My point was I thought Spargo played a better game than Bedford. No worries though mate, you clearly have much more knowledge than anyone else on here and make a point of stating that at every opportunity...apologies for having an opinion on an opinion site. Care to name the round 1 team for us? Or will you will go with the old line that you will keep it to yourself because you are trusted by the club with info that you can’t give to others?

OMac is a defender and was excellent in the defensive system tonight
-
Just finished watching the replay but 100% disagree. Spargo played inside the system and with skill. Bedford’s goal assist was him going for goal that dropped short. I thought Spargo was very good
-
This is 100% correct. Those that say he is no good with ball in hand have OMac confused with another of our players. It is simply untrue
-
I am not sure why you panic when he has ball in hand. His kicking is actually very good, one of the best we have
-
Thank Demonland
-
Does anyone have an update on Petty? I believe he was injured/ in rehab a while ago but I think he will be a very important player for us this year. I rate him extremely highly and think his value is even greater considering a likely delayed start for May

Thanks what
