  1. Ben has been fantastic for us he has won the ultimate for the club and been excellent in a coaching capacity with the girls. If his knee injury is too debilitating then the best course of action is to gain an injury related retirement. His Salary would be paid out of the salary cap and would be best outcome for all parties involved. Ben would know if this is the best case scenario.
  2. If you drew a circle around their feet they wouldn't have moved out of it. motionless. Easiest money they'll ever make.
  3. Who's would be saying that WCW? Its on the players for missing the opportunities created.
  4. They drop everyone behind the ball soak up pressure when the game gets tight and try to play on the counter attack. Simple really he must watch alot of World Football old Craig Mcrae. Don't care what arguments people put in front of me, if we get our hands on a Peak Power Forward who can jump and clunk marks inside 50 we are winning again. No.1 Priority this trade period. We f'd up last trade period with Grundy make it right this time brains trust and team him back up with Shaq dog and Hunts.
  5. Go and get Naughton its that blatantly obvious, this team needs some separation that Tmac and BBB gave us in 21. Friggen fix it while you have the draft capital. This club that won the flag 1 hour ago were on the ropes and hanging on for dear life against us. Kicked 0.2 in the last quarter of the QF because we had 1 tall playing his 1st year as a marking forward inside 50. Get busy Dees do something constructive, don't just sit on your hands and this is the problem 12 months down the track. #FFS.
  6. Umpires you had one job. F me. Hold your heads in shame AFL. Your umpires are a disgrace the only game in the world that decision making has such a bearing on a game. pathetic.
  7. Key to this game is the Big O must dominate that yank from the get go, sink his knee right into his ribs. This is where he got Gawny early. Must fight fire with fire straight from the first bounce, we didn't do this, we were very reactive. I hope our lads have learnt lessons from the first 7 minutes of the 1st QF, have to set the tone early not physical enough at all.
  8. I was going to start a whole new topic but I'll just post it here. From most important needs we need to address? What are our key needs to get us over the line for a Premiership/s in the next 2-3 years? 1. Key Power Forward (clunking mark forward) (Trading) 2. Young gun skillful midfielder (Draft) Top pick 3. 2nd Ruck/Forward who can play forward (Trading) 4. Fast Small crumbing forward goalsneak (Draft) 2nd rounder
  9. Packaged deal with Grundy for hopefully pick 11 and another selection.
  10. Fritta would go to the next level, he would get the 3rd best defender and kick 60 a year for the next 3 years. Goody would then have the option of pairing Naughts up with JVR or Petty. Petty can revert back to his defensive post and have that option into the forward line up our sleeve it would be perfect. Imagine the ball Kozzie and Mcadam would get a ground level when the ball is not being marked, we would be unstoppable.
  11. Deserves it Jack.
  12. Might not want to drop the Management Company's name @dee-tox
  13. Melbourne had signed Grundy on the premise that $550-600k of his Salary would be paid over the next 5 years. The Collingwood component of his contract would have stipilulated that $350k would be paid over a 5 year duration where ever that may be Club A or Club B. This happens in the NBA and NFL yearly so whichever club that signs the initial deal (Collingwood) is liable to whatever percentage/figure is agree upon on the life of the contract. Which will be 4 years at $350k starting when ever he signs during trade period. MFC lawyers would be all over this.
  14. He's 24 years old, Just about to enter his peak, would improve out of sight at the Dees. Naughton is the only logical choice in the right circumstances, 1 year remaining on his contract, Bulldogs are going through change, they need the picks and he doesn't seem to be on the same page as Bevo. Ripe for the picking brains trust.
  15. If this is the case with BBB why not include him in the senior AFL coaching staff as forwards coach and make his transition from playing to coaching an easy one. Surely he would be more knowledgeable than Staf in this regard and has fresh ideas to reinvigorate our forward mix.
  16. We already went after Walker and Fogarty 2 years ago especially Walker and were politely declined.
  17. I have forgotten alot of things from that time period but never the name Barry Prendergast. Etched into my brain for all the wrong tormenting reasons.
  18. North game 2 and Sydney game 2 also. Robbed. They sure had that medal ready to go quickly in Brisbane.
  19. Could a Brownlow be tucked into Tracc's Cabinet along side a Premiership medal and Norm Smith on the same day he achieved this feat 2 years ago? Scary sh........it.
  20. They really love a TV ad channel 7. #FMD I hope i don't have to see that pig Maynard on the TV screen.
  21. My google photo reminders on this day 25th September, 2021 were on my phone nice and early today to brighten my day. Lucky enough to be able to watch the drought breaking flag, now we need to break the drought in Melbourne. p.s. I was sitting directly in line with Fritta's shot in the 3rd and thought it was a hitting the post till some natural fade kicked in and steered it through. The rest is history.
  22. I reckon Naughton might be our best chance in nabbing a Tall Power Forward out of Contract in 2024, 24 years of age, Dogs desperate for picks. Been poor this year Naughts are change of scenery with his mates Lachie and big Shaq dog might be what the doctor ordered, times are changing for WB.
  23. Gouge my eyes out while your at it. Going to be a tough watch, can't stand both these cruntpets.
