  1. Listening to Macquarie Sports Radio this morning where there was a staggering amount of sympathy offered based around the excuse "he is a 20 year old boy". My counters are: 1. He is a professional sportsman so how many times would the no drugs in sport policies have been rammed home? 2. In my experience, it would be exceedingly rare that a drug user be caught on their very first occasion.
  2. Don’t worry about Juddy. He will be 6 feet under by 40. I know I would be if I was married to his missus.
  3. Let’s change the idiots name to Banjo Robinson.
  4. I was highly critical of him a while back but he seems a little more grounded now. He seems to seek and crave the “attaboy” comments and is still immature in many ways. I think he lacks some self belief deep down and see him as a work in progress still requiring a rocket up his rear. When things finally fall into place for young Christian he will be virtually unstoppable. Massive up side.
  5. Hahaha! A pink shark took the bait! How ironic. I predict you are waaayyy past your bedtime. Nighty night.
  6. To all you "supporters" who predicted we'd lose today, welcome back to the bandwagon. Try staying on it this time.
  7. Coach, with such sublime clinical execution of a very difficult task based on one solitary attempt, you should be up in the box next to Goody after providing the team with a motivational rev up pre game. The message - “how hard can it be to execute a skill even under immense pressure?” Well done sir. Generations of dads salute you!
  8. Harmes to stop Yeo. Weed to play a defenders role on McGovern and stop him marking. Bring the ball to ground. Dees win by 24+
  9. Who gives a flying fork what might happen? Just support your team and stop speculating. Regardless of what you say, do or think, it’s out of your control. What happens, happens. Enjoy the ride. Fair dinkum, some of you blokes must still sleep with the light on.
  10. No. He was a boy who had his confidence smashed early, was never given the appropriate support and consequently failed to develop into the player he could have been as a result.
  11. No worries cobber. Have done for 52 years but always call it as I see it.
  12. Yep. I do. A VFL player bluffing his way through through the AFL.
  13. Firstly, Brown and Daniher are FF’s. Buddy traditionally plays at CHF. But regardless, game day match ups are horses for courses. Frost to Franklin last week is the perfect example. Jonathan Brown, one of the modern era’s best forwards has been highly critical of Hogan’s positioning and leading methods and it’s hard to disagree with. He can get away with it against the lesser quality defenders but struggles again the better opponents. Perhaps playing at CHB would give him the opportunity to study the techniques of the competitions best key position forwards close up and learn from them. He is big, strong, agile and has a good tank. We are in desperate need of a quality key defender and Jesse could fit the bill until he is more prepared to take up a forward role. It certainly didn’t do David Neitz any harm. In direct contrast to you, I’d rather keep Jesse Hogan and try him at CHB than get another mid. Our current group of midfielders seem to do ok I think....
  14. JackDeMan makes some very good points. People forget that Jesse was AA CHB as a junior player.
  15. George Mallory. Ah yes. Was in Homicide with Leonard Veale and Alvin Curtains....
  16. Too much repeat exercise on hard surfaces is the prime suspect according to the missus (GP).
  17. Look after yourself mate and be right for the finals.
  18. I sharted when I read the posts. Sorry. I'm an old guy. It happens more and more frequently following stress and shock and has been quite prevalent at times this season. I will recover around October.
  19. Which is obviously why he is 3rd favourite with betting agencies across the country tail light.
  20. Would love to see either Max or Clarry win it but I think Patrick Cripps will be very hard to beat.
  21. All well and good to be miles in front and obviously I am happy about that but we need to develop a real killer instinct mentality and should be 100+ in front now.
  22. And THIS is why we will get murdered by good teams. Cannot play 3 quarters let alone 4.
