  1. I would be less concerned about how bad Fremantle are going, and more concerned about how well GWS are playing. They will be very hard to beat in two weeks.
  2. Great win, the score flattered Collingwood. Pressure inside 50 was immense. Backline superb. Cannot overstate the importance of Salem to this team
  3. I agree. I can’t see where the goals are going to come from. I think we will struggle to kick more than 60 points, which won’t be enough.
  4. That is so wrong. Weideman took the advantage and missed
  5. I think from memory we had only lost 2 games to that point? 2 from 15. Now it’s 4 from 12. Next 2 are Collingwood and Geelong at Geelong. Let’s park the conversation until 6pm Monday.
  6. When we don’t lose to sides like Fremantle and Essendon
  7. But it’s the losses to teams like Freo, on our home turf, that will bite us on the bum in the final ladder position. That is what p…ses me, and a lot of other posters, off. Games we shouldn’t lose!!!!! I admire your positivity Binman, but right now, I don’t think it is warranted.
  8. That Freo player just launched himself into the turf while being tackled, and milked a dangerous tackle free! Is this what the game has become?
  9. How the hell did we lose to this mob? On our home ground. Recently. Beggars belief.
  10. Really? He hasn’t had a touch. Impose yourself on the game son.
  11. Not criticising Pickett, however he has had only 6 disposals in 2 of the last 3 games. Yeah, sure, he has the type of game that can cut you to ribbons, however it doesn’t happen that often. All I am saying is that if the finger is being pointed at Spargo, ANB and Chandler, then Pickett needs the heat on him as well.
  12. That's what I would think too. Although on form, you could also throw Pickett into that conversation as well
  13. Carlton will be up and about this week, after the blowtorch being applied to them. And I think they will win. Unless the following can happen: Petracca can have another 40 possession game and kick a few Max can start dominating around the ground and forward when he goes there Lever can be that intercept beast that we once knew Pickett can play four quarters, instead of four minutes
  14. No we don’t, and there lies the real issue.
  15. That is exactly my timeline too! And also my wish, just want to see one in the flesh
  16. And yet they still won. I would suggest that if our pressure was off against those teams, maybe not Giants, we would lose. As much as it pains me to say, and I would think most on this forum would agree, the flag is theirs to lose
  17. Collingwood seem to be doing a fairly good job at it, Binman. Or do you still not rate them?
  18. Good post Kieren, very well written. But I think Deever’s post is spot on. I don’t think our best 22 is good enough anymore. Other teams have gone past us. A few of our players are struggling to reach the heights they did in 21; Gawn, Brayshaw, Langdon, May, Lever, to name a few. Our midfield is not as effective. We don’t have a dominant power forward. The Gawn Grundy combination is not delivering the big advantage we thought it would. I genuinely fear we will lose the next 4 games.
  19. Well, at least Tracc can get all the votes to himself now, might sneak a Brownlow! Seriously though, it’s a good sign that he is in rehab already. Don’t forget this is the same bloke who played with a broken hand last year. I think he will be back sooner than what the doom and gloom media are suggesting
  20. Brayden Maynard and his cohorts would be licking their lips and salivating about the upcoming KB game
  21. Could not agree more with this. Well said. The Rankine bump was almost identical to Hunter. We must continue to challenge this moron, and highlight his obvious negative bias towards the MFC. So his assessment of the Rankine and Hayward incidents is that they were reasonable in the circumstances, and yet Hunters wasnt! The AFL need to step up here, and bring some sanity back into all of this. This is a high contact sport, and yes head injuries are going to happen as a result. Not because players are being careless, it is the nature of the beast.
