We were in this exact situation against Sandy a few weeks ago, only lead by a goal at 3QT, coming against the wind in the last and ended up kicking a few against the grain and winning so don't count out the boys just yet

That's because they are topsy-turvy. They never actually name the proper lineup before the game, not sure why. The actual lineup on the day will be more like you would expect, nothing like what has been listed.

Thank you for this. I don't think people her realise the blood, sweat and tears that goes into not only making it into an AFL list, but what it takes to stay there. Ive seen it first hand and it isn't pretty

It seems the team list I looked at was wrong I believe, coz I wouldn't have any clue why they'd be dropped because they've been playing some good footy, I think KCs lists are more accurate, it's just a matter of which fringe VFL players are in and out

Ive been joking with Dec that if Lever comes, he's gonna steal Decs job hahaha Keilty can hold up his own in a Forward/Ruck role, similar to Pedo, but in sorta younger, inexperienced way. But he definitely plays his best footy down back. However he has shown his strength when going forward, after basically playing Defence all last year he was put forward in Casey prelim final v Williamstown where he kicked 2 great goals and was very influential.

Not this game, no. Channel 7 always do the Elimination Finals and not the Qualifying finals for some reason. So this Saturday will be the Richmond v Collingwood game. And then Essendon v Footscray on Sunday.

So I just had "official" confirmation, I was correct in my research, and those are the eligible MFC players, plus Mitch White if he can pull up from his Hamstring Injury. It is now just a matter of who the club allows to play finals, and if they chose to rest players early/send them for surgery etc.

However, he was concussed in the opening few minutes of one of the Northern Blues game, so if they don't count that game, he will have only played 5, making him ineligible. **Even though Bugg has only played 4 VFL games, his suspension game against Sydney was on June 30th, 1 day before the July 1st cut off, and he hasn't played a senior game since, so I think this makes him eligible. Also a couple of interesting things, Wagner only just scrapes in with 7 games, Pederson is ineligible having only played 4 VFL games, and out of every single AFL listed player, only Keilty has played all 18 games for Casey this season. A lot of this is and will be speculation until we get confirmation from the club about who is and isn't going to continue into the VFL Final series, but at this stage we can have a reasonable guess at what the team lineup will be for Saturday, here's what I have so far: CASEY DEMONS B: 25. Well it wasn't pretty but it's a win and a top 4 spot for Casey

Casey have had a lot of momentum, just can't seem to be efficient inside 50. Keilty had a great couple of minutes at the end of that quarter

No Jack Hutchins tonight, he is out with general soreness. Still should be a good win for the VFL following the developement boys great game.
